If you want to get into rolls I think, personally, you're wasting your time. Rolls are stupid, if you want rollers get 7 rollers MAXIMUM. Other than that train speed, body tricks and rollers go good together as long as you have flow. Work on atm-360chest roll np, fast side heads, and train everything both ways (strong-weak) (weak-strong.)

Strive to be luki

just try to make the delays between a move shorter, to make it faster and smoother
watch luki and you'll know what I mean

ok cool. i just dont know how to train hard in uppers, if you know what i mean. like in lowers and in sitdowns, its easy to train combos, but in uppers, i just dont know how or what to train. i suppose i should try and combine all of these moves in fluid movements. maybe i should try to start to learn top head stall?

YESSSS, try to put every move you know into a fluent combo. You will gradually gain speed and it comes with practice.

Start learning a very low around the moon, the lower your around the moon, the better it looks.

Then start doing neck-sidehead-sidehead-neck etc, get very good at that, start learning multiple chest rolls in a row.

Jak taka ryba

^^^ study the combo at 0:50, get good at doing the tricks at (0:54) (1:14)

There's always room to progress since you can always get faster, try everything as fast as you can. For apavel/pavel rolls, watch turlakov and study his head movement, it's easy to get good at them btw, they are definintely not hard, i learned 23 in like 2 months haha

don't worry about trick names so much, if you watch me or turlakov or benGau, its the move where we roll it over are head.
Watch the APROLL tutorial i posted, it'll explain it a bit and show it,

Have you mastered sideheadstalls yet?
Whenever going to a sideheadstall, you have to think of it as a sideheadstall. - very confusing. What i'm saying is, take the ball with your hands and place it on the side of your head, you want it to be in that exact position EVERY time you do a sideheadstall. - So wherever you place it with your hands, memorize that body position, and then when doing neck-sidehead, get into the body position, i can try to explain better if you don't understand, it's very confusing i know hahaha

edit: I will explain better anyways, you know how when you do lowers you use muscle memory? It's the same concept. Memorize the body positions of every upper trick, and always try to get into the body position when trying to execute an upper move.

gr8 advice man, thanks a milllion! i owe you man! now i just gotta improve my uppers and get fluid. 1 question actually; how long does it usually take for one to get to an "intermediate" or even "advanced" level of uppers? i mean, how can you tell once you get really good? and how long does it take?
oh yh, also; how do YOU (tupac) practice uppers? just go over everthing you know how to do in uppers? i dont know if you understand or not, i hope so. i mean to say that how do people practice uppers? like when dudes do lowers, they like do atws htws hatws crossover combos etc, so how to do uppers?
thanks again man! peace

Couldn't really tell you how long it takes to get to intermediate or hardcore, since a lot of people confuse rollers with "hardcore uppers."

You'll be able to tell when you are good, you will have a fast flow.

To train, I usually start by just doing every trick I know how to do. Unlike lowers, we do not have a mass amount of tricks, so style/speed is what we aim for.
When training try to get:
1. A really low around the moon ------ don't throw the ball 100 feet in the air like most people, the lower the around the moon, the better it looks.
2. A flow ----- it takes time to achieve a flow, but basically, try and do all the tricks you know in one combo as fast as you can --- do not sacrifice style
3. Incorporate body tricks --- try to get really good at going into chest rolls FAST. Study 1:14 in the luki video, speed is a must in body tricks
4. Long hair --- you want to look like turlakov so people will think you are amazing!

long hair haha! but what do you mean to not sacrifice style? oh yh, and what is considered a "good" style in uppers? like in lowers it would be juggling smooth, with toes below knee level, so in uppers...? thanks
