Let's presume that everything the media has told us so far is true. Even though it may feel right to go in and kill the man responsible for hitting the twin towers, there's a reason we have laws to restrict this sort of behavior. Why would the US kill an unarmed man? Yea, you might believe he's an asshole but that doesn't give you the right to take his life. Isn't everyone supposed to be entitled to a fair trial regardless of their actions?

I don't know if they wanted to kill him, but it's reported that when they went in some people were armed.  Maybe not all, but some were.  They didn't want to take the risk of losing one of their own.  Nothing wrong with that.  It's not like this man deserves a fair trial anyways.  It's not like he stole something or cheated on his taxes.  He killed innocent people.  I would prefer to see him alive so we can pull info from him and put him in a jail cell with limited food and peace.  I personally think getting killed is the easier way out for him, but then again, he was used to living like he was in prison so maybe he wouldn't have had a problem in jail.

Either way, who cares?  He was finally caught and deserved what he got.

No, I didn't say that. You are supposed to look at the question from the governments point of view and take your own opinions out of the picture.

Wasn't Hitler going to be given a fair trial after killing like 11M? I know that Sadam got a trial, so why not Bin laden.
