It is not just his goalscoring. I also said about his penetrative dribbling abilities which unbalances opposing defences. Also, winning freekicks and scoring freekicks. All this creates opportunities for his teammates to have more space, consistently. And he never stands still doing tricks. It is always done to create space for a shot or to get past a defender.....unless he is time wasting in the 90th minute or smth.
Xavi creates opportunities for space and penetrates defences with his passing, which is just as effective and consistent. But ronnie has a little extra because he scores a shitload of goals too
If you look at the greatest attacking players like henry, tevez, messi, eto,o, Brazilian Ronaldo, etc. they all are remembered not for passing vision or ball retention or switching play. Instead for unbalancing defences, quality of general play and quality of goals.....just like ronnie.
