I can get aatw consistent now, Brian lockyer helped me with them. Crossovers are for pussies

I hope you're not serious when saying that.
Nah not really, there are some people that can make them look good, but I think it's a save trick. I hate when people do a long combo and then in the middle of it there's a random cross over, unless it's followed by a (a)htatw or (a)hmatw nt, I don't like it, too me, it almost always represents loss of control...

So what if it is a saving trick? Skora used it to save his combos sometimes (in competitions), so does Palle and many others... Even if it's a saving trick, the ones using them can't be in the least classified as being "pussies".
When you introduce the concept of "crossovers being for wimps", it creates restrictions, which can't be good at all for a sport like FREEstyle, where it calls for a lot of freedom. A lot of restrictions like that kills not only the ones who employs it (those who are stubborn and won't use crossover to save their combos will surely drop the ball and so sh!tty lps.) but the concept of freestyle as well.
Let people do whatever they choose to do.
I'm not saying pro's don't do it, petike/michryc/skora/oLi/palle/etc. I just think it looks bad in the middle of a combo and therefor I refuse to train them. I will train co-matw nt and what not, but not show it on camera. (when I get there.)
I do the ducking atm-crossover but most people don't even duck right so it looks bad.

So, according to the 2 bold lines I highlighted above, you're saying that pros (petike/michryc/Palle/Skora...) are pussies?
Because they do crossovers, and you're definitely saying: "Crossovers are for pussies" and so it must mean something like: "Pros are pussies"? Forgive me if I interpret it wrongly but that's how I see it according to what you wrote.

You interpreted it wrongly. I used bad word choice though :p I think crossovers are a save trick and look bad in a normal video. LP's are different since it's for a crowd of people that usually know 0 about freestyle. But if it's a competition I think it looks bad, kinda like arm rolls to save uppers.

basically sam is just explaining that there is no need for learning combos like atw cross atw cross and so on because later on you will connect combos with hatw htw and such tricks. look at leahs tutorial he also leaves crossover out and it is by far the best tutorial if you want to become good in lower combos as you can see by almost every russian. and yeah crossovers that were put randomly into combos just to save it look shit.

Touche! In training, if you can do combos without crossovers that will be nice, and a way to up your level because it is surely harder than combos with crossovers. However, I still think there's no reason to dismiss the use of crossovers in LPs or even competitions. That introduces restrictions which can only make the performance worse. But I'm not going to tell you guys what to do; you guys just do what you like. After all, isn't this what freestyle is all about here: doing it your own way?

It's just his opinion. It's like not liking a certain move in freestyle and never trying to learn it because it's not fun or whatever. It may restrict you, but like you said FREEstyle.
Oh if you can save the ball with a cross over then surely you can save the ball with a juggle.

Cool. If you put it that way then I agree. I just misinterpreted what he said before:"Crossovers are for pussies" that's all.
