Tupac
« on: Mar 04, 2011, 03:01: AM »
I grew up on Pac, so this is a Tupac discussion thread.
What are some of his greatest contributions to society?
I'll start off

1. He gave people in inner city areas hope.
2. His music revolutionized the world
BONER!

he was involved in the wrong places and got killed.
The nitrophosphate process (also known as the Odda process) was a method for the industrial production of nitrogen fertilizers invented by Erling Johnson in the city of Odda, Norway around 1927.

He was an average rapper and he's sooo overrated because of his death
He has got a lot of psycho-fans who think that he was and still is the best rapper ever which is a complete bullshit

Tupac was great, and I say that not even being a huge Tupac fan.  You gotta appreciate his music and intentions.

Yeah I agree with the death thing, It makes everyone more popular. I didn't know he was dead till I was 6ish. I still think he's a good rapper but most people don't understand the message behind his music. Unlike Lil Wayne or Drake he sings about something relevant to life.

meh say what you will, I asked some kids why he didn't have a new album out and they said he was dead (I don't remember being age 5), they gave me 3402385905243 times as much shit as you guys could ever give me hahaha.
Regardless, he still revolutionized the music industry with rapping to something he and others have been through. Not like all the mainstream rappers that rap about fucking monsters and shit under their bed.
Also I know a lot of people misinterpret the word "nigga" - don't ban me, it actually means someone who goes through struggle, Tupac said it defending his music on t.v somewhere, If i can find the link I'll show you guys.

It was originally used for slavery but Tupac expressed it in a way that it could be relative to white/black/mexican/asian/etc. He used it to talk about people living in the ghetto, "nigga" is used to make people feel uncomfortable because it evokes more feelings than other words.
