Ronaldo Retires
« on: Feb 14, 2011, 03:10: PM »
Sad day in footballing history. Valentines 2011 the legend calls curtains on his glorious career. He will be missed and will go down as one of the greatest of all time
Thierry Henry leaving Arsenal was one of the saddest days of my life....

Legend!! No doubt. :040: Unstoppable on his day, but not really a team player though. If one day he doesn't want to run he won't, cause he doesn't have to. His skills carry him. His teammates at Real Madrid use to allow him to slack off in training because they knew he would score goals when matchday arrived.
Also, he just revealed yesterday he suffers from a condition called hypothyroidism which slows your metabolism and makes it harder to lose weight and to control weight gain. Hence his big belly.

forget Ronaldinho....only one deserves the -inho suffix......Jabarinho!!!!

Yeah, really sad.  He'll be missed.  I think everyone in the end has a good memory of Ronaldo.  Great striker who was unfortunately struck by bad injury luck.

Check out Ronaldo's son under the table when Ronaldo announced his retirement.

my biggest memory of ronaldo was WC2002, when he made 12 goals and had that hideous hair style... next summer half the kids had the same haircut xD

Wasn't it 8 goals?  I think he had 15 total World Cup goals. :017:
