In between man... he's a musican genious.  That's a fact.

The album has some hot tracks.  I love how he incorporates the orchestra and proper singers.  It's far beyond anything else that's being done in rap these days.  I guess Drake is doing something original, but that's about it.

The only thing that sucks about Kanye's album is the heavy use of bass.  My average car speakers can't handle it.   :lol_hitting:

Can't wait for Lupe's new album.  I have no idea why that's being pushed back so much though.

I really love every single track off the album and the thing I love most about Kanye is that his last albums doesn't sound like the ones before.

I can't really see what's so special about Drake. Like George said in Seinfeld: "Hate the Drake!!"

EVERYBODY KNOWS I'M A MOTHER FUCKIN MONSTER.

Kanye, once again, shows that know one (living; J Dilla) can sample like he can. He’s the best producer in the underground and mainstream game. Although, I still think his raps aren’t too intellectually stimulating.

My Kanye greatest hits CD looks like this:

1.   Two Words
2.   Drive Slow
3.   Homecoming
4.   Monster
5.   We Major
6.   Welcome to Heartbreak
7.   We Don’t Care
8.   Through the Wire
9.   Touch the Sky
10.   Can’t Tell Me Nothing
11.   Hell of a Life
12.   Gorgeous
13.   Diamonds
14.   Hey Mama
15.           Addiction

kanye's work, to me, is pretty forgettable. No denying he's got a few things going for him, though...he's definitely got a persona, and isn't afraid of projecting it in his music...kind of like David Bowie in that respect.

Drake hasn't done anything remotely creative, and a whole bunch of good stuff is happening in hip hop right now...El-P released an album in 2010, and it was pretty transporting. Bad News Brown also released a great, soulful album, and his future was looking bright...sadly he was found dead in Montreal a couple weeks back.

Everything from Odd Future Wolf Gang is fresh as hell...Tyler the Creator is a prodigy, and so is Earl.

Kanye is trying to hard to be different and some how managing to make music that sounds all the same.
Drake is okay, too mainstream.

Lupes Album, now were talking, one of the few "mainstream" artists id class as real music.
I dont know the exact reasons why it was pushed back of the top of my head, same problem saigon had, was with Atlantic records trying to put there input in the music and water it down into a more commercial sound, lupe refused and its basically been back and forth and now its finally getting released in the way he wanted.

You should all seriously check out...

Saigon - Greatest story never told, whether you like hardcore underground, or more poppy stuff, this is a classic.

I don't like Monster much... did at first but then the last verse by that chick annoyed me.

The first song on the CD is the best by far if you ask me.

kanye's work, to me, is pretty forgettable.

Really?  How?  He's unbelievable at making hits and each one of his CDs sounds different, with a different style that in many ways reflects what he's going through in life.  Give me one top rapper who can create an album like 808s and Heartbreak to reflect the down time of his life (mainly due to love and losing loved ones) in one weekend?  Nobody can do it.  Nobody can create shit as catchy as Kanye in such a short period of time... and it was completely different than anything else he had done before.

Kanye is trying to hard to be different and some how managing to make music that sounds all the same.

His music is different on every album... just go listen to all of them.

Kanye isn't trying to be different, he simply is different.  He's been the same cocky motherfucker since day one.  There's no arguing that.  You can say what you want about him, but he's always been different, naturally.  Most people don't like him for what he is, and he's still doing his thing.

Some people just love to hate on Kanye. Weather he does something good, drops a dope ass album, puts on a great show etc some folks just choose to hate it before it comes out or without really listening to the albums.

And what's amazing is that he gets stick for saying shit that's on everyones mind (Yes, Beyonces video is a million times better than Taylor's). You can argue for the way he went about it, but I bet if he kept his mouth shut everyone would be saying that Beyonce deserved video of the year, not Taylor.

And the ego shit. I mean, show me a rapper, besides Will Smith I guess, that doesn't have an ego! I mean have you ever fucking heard a rap/hiphop track?!!

G-Kid; saying his stuff sounds the same is seriously delusional. Can't you tell the difference between "All falls down" from "Good morning" to "Love lockdown" or "Hell of a life" ?!! Or you just took the shortcut and decided, nice try but it just sounds the same?

I mean, nobody has to like him or his music, but try to devide the two while forming your opinion.
