maybe you can try this method
go for latw...but while doing the 2nd revolution, go for tatw nt instead of atw nt
if you know what i mean :P
think of ltatw as this way:
ltatw = atw-tatw nt

You Sir are a Genius!!
Ive been trying to get this move for ageeeeeeeees!!
Gonna try it 2morrow :D
no he is not a genius
he saw that Samuel wrote about Ethan advising to think of lmatw as atw-matw nt, and decided to be very original

and this may work, however personally never thought this way (i mean lmatw which is a different from ltatw)
for ltatw
you gotta be able to do latw-atw and also latw-tatw ideally (not neccesraly), imho wait for the very last moment of last rev than go for crossover and keep it low
before moving on to ltatw - master latw really well

for tricks without crossover (htatw, latw, etc) - practice them this way:
if we take latw, learn it and be able to do it at least 5/10;
then learn latw-htw - gives you a feel of coordination after the trick
2nd combo to practice - atw-latw (for strong foot and hatw-latw for weak)
3rd combo: htw-latw
4th combo: latw-amatw (very important)
5th combo 2atw-latw-htw
6th combo: htw-latw-amatw (most important)
this is how you get consistent at latw
i took my time to translate this from russian, because i do care and i don't want other people to follow stupid advices - because if you wanna get any good you should try to make as few mistakes as possible (c)
i know this from my own experience
i hope you appreciate my time and effort i put into translating this
also you gotta move to the side when doing ltatw (this is different for lmatw where you don't really move to the side)
