we all forgot the most important:

Lucaso!

this shouldnt just be about who made cool videos, this should be who added the most new flavour, energy and new dimension to freestyle in 2010...

yosshi and yamato
dont try to appear alternative. both of them are clearly not the most amazing freestylers of this year. they cant compete with the achievements of mp andrew mirko or the feeling these gave to the freestylecommunity
didn't wrote those two to be alternative. imo they rocked this year big time, especially yamato coming out with some of the sickest moves of the year, his mind is really open. not taking away the respect to andrew mirko mp and others that have been mentioned, cause i love their freestyle a lot and have lots of respect for them, but I appreciate more coming out with something completely new and fresh
Totally agree with you. Mirke and MP and all those sort of guys have done amazing achivments, excactly as Yosshi and Yamato have done. So it's just a question of taste.

what Max is trying to say is that amount of work Mirko, Mp put into their training is way way bigger than that of those japanese guys - and i totally agree

1. Azun -- no comment needed.
2. MP -- came out of nowhere this year and has gotten massive respect from the fs world.
3. Luki -- winning in Prague proving that he is one of the best allrounders in the world, and at his young age! :O
4.  Footwork -- I think Mirko & Co. has taken hardcore to a different level. Massive respect.
5. DanTheMan -- Yes, i do think Dan is one of the top5 freestylers of the year. First of all he has done so much for the community recently - and second of achieved at top8 ranking in the European Championship. He has definitely proved his worth.

Others who are worth mentioning are Linde for his incredible videos which many fs'ers have loved, Lucaso for the CFFA European Championship, Some asian freestylers but i honestly don't know much about them but i am always amazed by all the new stuff they come up with, Michryc for Pyzrasotjuaoga (can't spell) and constant creative and consistent combos. Andrew Henderson, who btw is my current fave freestyler, for everything. He is just amazing! :D He has the potential to beat everyone in all upcoming events..

and thats about it from me (:
Keep it Street..

Hey wait a second here! What do you know about that? Like i said, they have both totally different styles and they practice in two different ways. I think Mirko never would land such a stylish moves like Yosshi does even if he practice all hes life. It's harder then people think to have the awesome flow that they have. Some people have tried, but often, it just look terrible.

And even if Mirko have put more effort into their training, how does that automaticly make them "the freestyler of the year"?

Please don't be so close minded and just think that your tought is the right one. People are practising really hard to develop their own style, And if you never have tried it, then never come and tell them it's not hard to do what they do!

Still, i have huge respect for what the hardcore people are doing, and im not telling you that they are not putting more effort into their training then the Japanese style. But don't say it IS like that. Because you don't know nothing about how it is to practice any of those styles. Be more open minded and don't take things for granted. Hardcore dudes are awesome at what they are doing and i respect their skills, but that's just not my cup of tea. And that's the reason i said Yosshi was the Freestyle of the year.
