Mackes crabass was the highlight of the battle imo.
But yeah, I hate when people hate on eclipse, it took me some time to learn it, and it is indeed hard to learn, and the thing about it being similar to a crossover, is just bullshit, if you ever tried to practice to do 3-4 eclipses in a row, you will realise a fair bit of difference.

The nitrophosphate process (also known as the Odda process) was a method for the industrial production of nitrogen fertilizers invented by Erling Johnson in the city of Odda, Norway around 1927.

difficult or not, beautiful or not... Dear God please have mercy and let people do whatever they wan't to! All this nonsense about what people think and what they don't. If the majority thinks that an eclipse is awe then leave them be god darn it...
When did he say "stop doing eclipse"? Although i can't do it myself I find it hard to understand why people scream like Johan Palm-fans when someone lands eclipse in a battle, not saying it's easy but I do have the balls to say it's overrated.
"and linder is now better then when he used to suck at freestyle."

No shit?

Gustav only has this opinion because PWG is a master of eclipses and for him its so easy that its like a "normal" freestyler doing a crossover (still not that easy obviously)
however, i dont think Eclipse is an overrated trick, it took me a month to learn properly which is a very long time considering i trained it every day for that month.. its very complex movement unlike any other move in freestyle football so Gustav go learn it before you diss it, Oli Cherek had the exact same attitude towards it...
For me myself its just as hard to put an eclipse in a combo as a amatw amatw nt, in my own freestyle ability i would consider them equal.. another thing is its hard to make it come up in a good position to continue the combo..

anyway eclipse rant over, good battle and Holmberg has one of my fav styles definetaly!

Well I just dont see how a trick that takes 15 minutes to get is harder than one that takes many months

yes one months to learn, amatw amatw nt probably take 6 - 8 months

I also said ''to get'' and by that I meant to land it..... it took patrick edwards 15 minutes to get in amsterdam meet ive heard,, can he even be close to amatw amatw nt ?

eclipse is a boring, overrated trick. even if it is hard, it doesnt look good in air combos. i agree with gustav, even if it is much harder than  a crossover, it has the same effect in a combo. it destroys the flow and gives the freestyler a quick break.

leave eclipse to Vasek.

back on topic, Holmbergs crabbass thing looks fucking amaaaazing

amatw amatw nt is overrated and boring, leave it to skora ;)

i dont see any reason to hate on eclipse, for itself it looks very smooth and can make a combo look more interesting with more variation. at least you should really master a trick to judge finally about its difficulty. and eclipse is a trick which is maybe easy to get (i dont know) but is a trick which looks better the better you can do it, like the abdullah trick which is very easy to get (i know), but nobody can make it look like abdullah.

I seriously don't want to sound big headed or undermine the effort you put into getting eclipse but I hadn't really practiced it before Amsterdam, however, Christiaan was helping me with it and every time I tried it he would give me feedback which was a huge help and I think it would have been a lot different if he hadn't been there.

I don't think it's underrated though, the timing is soooo precise on it and comparing it to a crossover is stupid and when I try it, I'm very inconsistent with it, so well done to both for getting it in performance

crossover 360 is also an easy trick but is hard to do multiple times
