Sit Help Pleasee
« on: Aug 12, 2010, 09:13: AM »
i dont train lowers cause of injury but i'd REALLY like to learn sits, i learned really basic things for lps like sole stall/abdullah-sidehead and i can do 3-5 co's

what i need help with is juggling, i cant juggle at all sitting down, which part of my foot should i hit it with and how close should my legs be to my chest? when ever i hit the ball it feels like im kinda stall it on my foot for a split second

also how far should i lean back?
thanks for an advice, please dont just say train, ive tried doing that on my own and idk what im doin wrong

lol you learned sole stall before learning how to juggle sitdown?! damn! well I just recently learned how to juggle, and for sitdown one thing that helped me was that you move your whole leg to juggle, not just your foot. Keep your foot firm, don't raise it up like you would while doing lowers. I am pretty crap at sd so i might be wrong, but thats how i juggle while sitting

u have to juggle it with the part of ur foot that u use during normal (standing) juggle, so the part i use are my toes, the easiest variant imo

I know Im still learning but I hit the ball with my laces..I supose the best thing is to practise? Because then you find what position is comfortable and you do see progress..Thats what I think anyways..Hope it helps

Bullshit, juggle with your laces, that way you have more control and the ball doesnt spin.

make sure when you train you train both feet, dont just use your right foot all the time

i'm not amazing at sits but there strong. but still i even practice just normal juggling with both feet to improve my touch

try doing like 2 on each foot back and forth or some variation

in regards to where to touch the ball i use the inside of my laces. i slightly turn my foot outward a bit. its all what you feel confortable doing but i think that gives you the best area to touch the ball and you dont have to be moving your foot arond. it should just be pointed out straight which is good so you dont get your feet tired and make mistakes.

i would say keeping your legs just a bit straight the and "L" shape so if the ball moves backward you have space and if the ball goes forward you have space to keep it up.

dont lean to far forward because this will cause you to get tired a lot fast (harder on the abs imo) and dont lean to far back that you cant see or feel your legs properly. you probably want to be slight more bent then an "L" shape in regards to your body and your thigh, obviously using your hands to support you.

good luck hope your knees or whatever is wrong with you feels better.

Laces definitey, if you use your toes it aches your calves more and laces just looks way better
