Total bullshit and you know it.  How stupid do you think Bayern's management is?  There is no way in hell Robben would come to Bayern if Ribery was leaving.  I guarantee you Robben made sure Ribery was staying for at least another 2 years.  I think they chances of Ribery renewing are around 75% now.  That's pretty good if you ask me.  I think Ribery will leave at some point but it'll be more like Ronaldo's situation, in which Madrid chased him for 3 years before Man U finally gave in.

tru that, ribery now said he is happy at Bayern and will not leave this summer.

but look at it on the other side,

Ribery's contract finishes next year, he has openly stated he would love to go to Madrid. if Madrid wait 2 years they can get him for free, Bayern dont want that so obviouly they are going to sell him to get some cash. and the price would be much lower then what it is now because if they wait they can get him for free

Remember Ballack?  He left for Chelsea for $0.  It can happen again.

Ribery's contract runs till 2010, so we can keep him for two years.  We won't get 70 million next year, maybe half that because the contract is close to running out.  I just hope he signs an extension.

Me too, but won't happen.  Defense and goalkeeper is too weak.  I'll take another run to the quarter-finals.  Semis would be beyond belief!

Yeah Byaern has no goalie and a Bayern defence without Lucio has the same effect as 2 guys just standing on the field looking around ('cept Lahm )

Lucio is good but he was also a liability at times.  He cost us many goals over the past few years.  His work rate can't be questioned though.  Still wish we had him but there were reasons for letting him go.  The problem is we didn't bring anyone to make up for the hole he left.
