Another kid too watch is:

Ivan Rakitic

he's 19 yrs old and already a usual starter for schalke 04 after only being at the club for 1 year approx.
He's performed well on national level already for croatia and he's a great star already to those who have watched him.

I like nicklas bendtner too. he seems to always be scoring for arsenal now. awesome!

Yeah Bendtner is good, they subbed him on last game, and I was like.. who is this guy? and then he set up a beautiful chance for Rosicky.

Macauley Chrisantus (HSV)

Yet to make his debut for the club he signed for in November, the Nigerian U17 star set pulses racing across Europe with his performances in the U17 World Cup. Finishing the tournament with the Golden Boot, the striker had attracted the attention of Arsenal, Manchester City and Ajax before signing for the German side. Certainly a player that falls into the 'developing' category, 2008 could be the year in which the Nigerian explodes onto the European scene.
this kid has to be my favorite has i'm betting he'll make a big impact when played

bojan will be a great player. i dont like barca, but its sure they found an extremely talented player. and dos santos is talented as well. real would need to find guys like them...instead of buying the "stars" all the time.

this is a bit long...

Mario Balotelli Barwuah (you probably already heard for him in last few days because he scored twice against Juventus)
born August 12, 1990 in Palermo (does not have Italian citizenship and is technically completely Ghanian)
started playing in Mompiano, then in 2001 went to Lumezzane (where he made his pro debut). In 2006 Barca took him for trial and in 5 days he played 5 games and scored 8 times (awsome),but his brothers (who are his managers) wanted him to finish school plus he had problems with citizenship, and then Inter offered him a contract.
On December 16, 2007 made his first team debut replacing David Suazo in a Serie A match won 2–0 by Inter at Cagliari. Three days later, he was featured in the starting lineup in a Coppa Italia match against Reggina Calcio and scored two goals in a 4–1 win.
On January 30, 2008 he scored two goals to Juventus in the return leg of the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, being instrumental in a 3–2 away win for the nerazzurri.

Due to Barwuah's legal problems, he did not manage to answer a number of call-ups received by Italian national Under 15 and Under 17 teams in the past, as he is still considered a Ghanaian immigrant.

On August 7, 2007, five days before his 17th birthday, he received his first senior International call-up from Ghana Coach Claude Le Roy for a FIFA International friendly match against Senegal in the New Den Stadium in London, England on August 21, 2007, but declined the offer citing once again his willingness to play for Italy when he becomes eligible. He also stated his willingness to represent Italy at the international level once he will be able to acquire an Italian passport

I'm so fucking glad to live right now, in this insane time of Phelps, Bolt and Lin Dan...(if I start numbering all great footballers it would take tooooo much space...)

There are two Croatian players I think are worth mentioning:Eduardo da Silva (striker,24) and Luka Modri? (midfielder,22)
Eduardo is playing for Arsenal (finally starting to get mor mins from Wenger so he can show his skills)
Luka Modri? is still with Dinamo Zagreb (there were loads of romours about transfering him to some great european clubs (Barca,Chelsea,Arsenal,Man.City) but Dinamo called it off for January transfer period (I hope he'll get there during summer)

Eduardo is already well known so I don't think it's a surprise to mention him.

Luka Modric is however. It's just a matter of time before a team snaps him up. I'm assuming that will happen after the EUROs this year.

How about the black forward on Inter Milan? He scored against Juventus a week ago. He looks like a promising youngster!
