Training
« on: Jul 30, 2009, 06:24: AM »
Hey guys, i just need to know something about training for freestyle. Basically i started freestyling a while ago, but i havnt taken it seriously until now. I can already do all the simple tricks such as, atw, head stall, neck stall - but i want to improve. So im wondering, how many hours a day did you train for when you started freestyling? And how many tricks should i focus on each day and for how long? Please help. :)

The beggining of the career is where freestylers normally practise as most I, would guess

I practised about 4 hours a day in the beggining

you can never be too focused on a trick

3 to 4 hours a day wen you are a begginer and practice in section like 45 min sits 45 lower and uppers and the tricks will come out naturaly your body will get use to the movement and things will get easier every week

i trained the wrong way, only on lowers, so dont do the same mistake, practise all types! Lowers, Sits and uppers!;) Practise as much as you want to, but not to much, because then you will get very stiff(dont missunderstand xD) and it might hurt if you dont stretch out after each time;)

I have a question, how should a beginner practice for sits? I have a hard time juggling the ball more then 5 times on sits.

Thanks

Basicly you have to do it like with the air moves. At first you learn to juggle and then you move on to learning the easier tricks such as reverse crossover, crossover and x-over. Then as you get better your control increases and you can try doing them in combos and learning the tricks with both feet.

Good luck

I train hour a day, but when I was beginner, it was like 3-4 hours a day. Making your own training will be the best, but my hour training consists of 10 minutes hatw, 10 minutes htw, 5 minutes atw, 15 minutes latw, 10 minutes hatw, 10 minutes htw.
