Updates on yours truly, TJ Hook
« on: Jul 22, 2009, 07:30: AM »
I received a private message from none other than my main man, Oli ,asking me about work and the daily grind.

I been gone awhile, no doubt, and that is due to a lot of entrpreneurial ventures I have set out.

My business is better than it has ever been. I hired a young stud straight from college who specializes in copywriting (the man is a genius), and he has lifted my sales by almost 7 percent in a matter of 3 weeks. Incredible. Easily this kid is going to be making $65,000 his first year and can only climb from there. I have had a lot of offers to merge and to sell, but frankly, this is a cash cow and I am milking this thing

I have been able to step out for a bit, and have this bitch running on auto-pilot for the most part, but I still was not satisfied. I opened up my horizons purchasing property and now own a 8 unit complex. Yeah, you heard me correctly. And had no problem finding tenants, only one vacant spot. Bought it out in Utah (Go figure--Any mormons on here? No? Alright then).

Now, with that passive income I have been able to play around in the stock market a little bit; had about 3 Booyahs in a month--Jim Cramer anyone?

My martin had a lot of problems with it and I got tired of fixing it, so I sold it and instead bought a Mercedes CL550. May be a bit of a step down, but have found the interior much nicer, and surprisingly a smoother ride. Also bought a Navigator while I was gone too for the long road trips I usually take.

I did have a failed venture though, that ended up costing me $15,000. I set out on an export/import partnership business with an absolute lunatic. The guy was a moron, but a hell of a salesman, which is how he got me. If I only I knew what I know now. Ladies and Gentleman, if you cannot speak Chinese, please do not try to negotiate with a Chinese CEO. Learn from my mistake.

I am now going to try my hand at Affiliate Marketing just for some extra side cash, and I will see where this takes me as well. If it fails, its not a problem, its just an experiment.

Anyways, by the looks of things for the Hook-man, it looks like I am going to be able to retire early. Most likely by the age of 25 and I am looking to move to Buenos Aires for a couple of months to relax.

Sorry for the long post, but that is ya boys business situtation.
