They don't recognize an independent Palestinian state. None of the candidates will stop the settlement movement either. One said she would but was accused of betraying Israel if she betrayed the settlers. She reacted by completely backtracking on her statement and said she would not give up even an acre of land that the settlers are on in West bank and Gaza.

I wonder if The West/US/Hoebama will boycott them.

Since Hamas isn't recognized as a legit government because they refuse to recognize Israel.

Middle finger to hypocrisy, double standards and occupation.

Peace.

ok you always get half of the candidates running not acknowledging palestine as a state because that half represents religiously radical groups, and they never get elected. All they can do is use their seats badly. But acyually, when you think about it, 50% of the groups running for power in Palestine don' recognize Israel as a state, so...

But yeah it's a major issue and it has to do with the way the knesset is set up. The Israeli constitution needs to be revised when it come to election

So? So they are boycotted by the west as soon as they step up for codependency. Now why isn't the same happening with these Israeli parties. Even if they do win they will won't get boycotted thats the main point.

They won't win so it doesn't matter. And hamas isn't getting boycotted by the 'west' because of that, they're geting boycotted by the west because they're not governing their own country properly and they're shooting missile into Israel (this is why it's happening, I'm not expressing any views on the matter here). But the second and Israeli party comes to power that doesn't recognize palestine as a state, then the UN should put economic sanctions of Israel and the US should withdraw most of its support.

Why would the West give two fucks about how Hamas is governing their own country. Anyone that doesn't recognize Israel is boycotted and picked on by the West. Iran for example.

I'd rather the hardcore parties come to power so someone can finally be truthful with most of these Arabs. Lets face it none of them candidates truly believe in a two state solution. Some of them aren't hypocrites and will state their real intentions.

Iran is hated on for sooo many more resons than that. Also, who are you to put yourself into the candiadates' heads? Are you saying that all Israelis are immoral pigs who don't have the best ionterest of the two states at heart? Dude your view is so skewed that I don't even know what to say...I mean you make so many groundless assumptions it's ridiculous. I could say precisely the same thing about Israel's arab counterparts, and you'd laugh in my face. Thats why I don't.

Also, the world isn't Israel-centric you know. Iran is making WMD's, and are headed by a madman who wouldn't be afraid to use them. If there is anything the world can unite against, it's the risk of nuclear warfare, however small.
