Help needed...
« on: Jul 04, 2008, 08:09: AM »
In desperate need of help, in the field of removing odor from shoes :hello:

I've been practicing a lot and it's been pretty warm lately and i've been sweating a lot and training a lot and with it all my shoes have begin to smell like death  My socks come out a different colour now and I have to like scrub my feet to remove the stench.
And no i'm not buying new shoes

Any suggestions :dontknow:

First of all see a doctor !
Just kidding, you should try to put them in the refridgerater, I've heard that helps, don't got anything else ..

I just gotta say that this one more time; it doesn't sound normal my friend !

It's pretty nasty, i've had them for a while. but brown and smelly socks aren't good and doing loads of laundry everytime I practice is annoying.

i think maybe he SHOULD be seeing a doctor.  sounds to me like he has a lot of bacteria on his feet.  that's what causes the socks to become a different colour, and ur feet to smell.

No, there's no bacteria or any crap I shower and stuff, I had my shoes for over a year and did a lot in them. Rain, Sweat, working out, running eventually they got dirty and stinky, so now they just smell really bad and make my socks a dirty beigeish colour on the the bottom.
I don't got money into getting new football shoes right now, so I was asking if there was like any way to make them smell a bit nicer,  right now i'm using like febreze

You could handwash the outside and inside of the shoes vigorously and see if that does anything. If not I'd recommend buying a new pair.

as soon as i seen latest member burnt toast i knew a future legend had registered.
