Freestyle used to be fun for me.... not anymore

Ok, i realised yesterday wen i was looking at a video of me from last year, i was only doing like 1 atw a crosover and some kick ups, but yet watching that video took me back to that day, to the day when i filmed that vid, and that was before knowing about "Freestyle" before knowing about "Atw" and before knowing about "Palle" and i remember being so happy wen i accomplished simple things like a Side-Toe Bounce, and i was having loads of fun and it was a amazing feeling to get a new trick, but now, now that i know about FX, JF, TG, Palle, Skora, etc... and i know about atw-latw-patw, i have found that freestyle is getting to be less and less fun for me, now whenever i do a new trick, im only thinking "Yeah i can do this, but im still ages away from doing ......" and for me right now, i preffer watching a video with creative easy moves, instead of watching FX part 6..... because i think freestyle loses its fun for the beginners as more and more people get crazy combos, because a beginner will watch a palle video and a FX video and will think "Damn look at how fast he is moving his legs and doing that stuff" but its not entertaining anymore cuz now theres a bunch of people that can do sick combos, so if you can do Cross-Atw then that means nothing, even though before you knew about Freestyle it did mean alot. And also right now you cant post a freestyle video on youtube or pretty much anywhere else, unless your intermediate, because if you are a beginner and you post a video, there will be sooo many people that will sttart hating on you.

Don't freestyle because you want to be the best. Just freestyle because you want to be good. That's the best way of thinking about it to me.

i dont care how good others are, people who dont know about freestyle think my tricks are awesome anyway  today i had sporting day on my school and people were amazed when i did things like latw, amatw and short combos

yeah thats right tbh. and also dnt practice to be as good as skora or fx, theres too many ppl like that right now. practice what you want, do some creative shit. imo thats better than them anyway

hrdout aye sometimes when i see peoples fs i feel lyk damm i been teraining so hard how come i cangt get that good lol lyk abdullah lol but i just think of the enjyment the oublic gets form freestyle and the reaction they do

i used to never be happy with my level of freestyle, i always wanted to be better than i was... i suppose that was good to help me improve but it started becoming not fun after a while...

now ive realised i can be happy with my freestyling no matter how bad i am compared to others, as long as non-fsers can enjoy it... any improvements is just a bonus =)
