Favorite Comic Book Characters

[redsforlife]

What's your favorite comic book character? With all the popular movies and stuff based on comic books, I thought it would be a good thread. I am not a big comic book fan, but I'd say Batman is my favorite. The movies are the most enjoyable of the superhero genre for me, and he has an interesting story even in the comics.

What about you guys?

I highly doubt that's true.

I've never met anyone in Australia that read a comic before and told me about it.

I'm calling you out on a lie there. I don't know for a fact, but you've probably read a comic book. Anyways, I'm not really a comic book person either. I never got them as a kid. My parents hated them, so they wouldn't buy them for me. Once I was in highschool I just didn't read period. Most of these characters are in movies and other outlets, so most of you still appreciate the characters. How about participating?

lol me? No chance, I dislike reading fiction, I can't even remember the last time I read a novel because I wanted to. I like watching or playing fictional games though.
The closest thing I've come to reading a comic book are the comic strips in a paper. Honestly, I've seen the comic book store in the Simpsons but I've never seen one in real life.
