Getting The Ball Up
« on: Apr 30, 2008, 10:03: AM »
I've just gotten into freestyle footie and I was wondering how everyone gets the ball up so I can start bouncing it on my foot? I can't even seem to do that  Any advice?

5 minutes  :dontknow:

but that was because I played soccer already...I learned how to do this when I was 8 or 9, so I learned fast because I was a kid and didnt overanalyze stuff. There are many kinds of takeups. Search tem up on youtube

I've never actually played soccer before so I have a feeling it's going to take me a while.

15 and never played football  :dontknow:

Anyway, if you just want to juggle just throw the ball in the air and go on from there, when you get to doing 1- kickups without fail then try to get the ball up
