Looking for a new camera

Can anyone recommend me one and some things to look out for when buying one.
Obviously I want an HD one, just not sure what I should be looking at.

Just an tip; Check so your computer system can handle HD footage. I know many people that have bought a HD camera, and also had to buy a whole new computer just because the one they had didnt fill the system requirement for HD footage.

good camera is toshiba.. toshiba has s20, s10, p10 , p30 is all very good cameras..;)
