ive seen a long documentary about this.... where a girl was the protagonist, and she hadnt fear of anything... so she became a profesional base jumper... and other experienced bas jumpers allways told her: this is extremly dangerous, your gonna see people die in this sports, your gonna make friends in this sport wich probably will die too, or get seriously injured....and if we are realistic you are probably gonna die too.... but she didn't mind and kept on doing that..... until she jumps of a plane and open's the parachute to late and bammm she got seriosluy injured like her friends told her.... she broke her left femur in 25 parts, and her right tibia in 21.... wich was the cause of the double leg amputation they had to do to her......
The end was really sad... I almost cried, because she seemed to be afraid of nothing, with a big heart, etc.... and her dream beeing ended in that way was pretty sad to watch.....
In conclusion.... yeah its one of the most dangerous sports ever, but the satisfaction you get after one of those jump's is indescriptible.....
If I had ever the chance to do it I would probably do it..... but only once or twice.... I dont wanna be like the girl of the story
