AtW Help
« on: Jul 01, 2008, 04:36: PM »
Now I can do them but I noticed a problem. When im just holding the ball on my foot close to my lower shin, and then I try to do an ATW, the ball tends to stick to my foot so as i lift up the ball, and start to move my leg around it, the ball goes in the exact same direction as my foot (a circular motion) instead of going straight up

dont know if u understood that but if u did help is appreciated

thanks

if you do outside atws, contact further on the outside of your foot for more 'slip off'. do the reverse for inside. the ball gets stuck when you simply arent going round it, and are taking a path that 'cuts through' it

When i was learning i dropped the ball and i let it bounce. When i reached it highest point i would try and hit the ball the with small toe and do atw, took about 2 hours to get it right, maybe you should try that
