You should always push hard, no matter how long your practises are. Take a drink of your water, go fs again. No pauzes, full efficiency :D

40 min is a short time
i mean it can be enough time to keep the same level for a while, but improving will take longer.
i will suggest to find time somehow, even if that means another 30 min when you get home.
an hour and thirty min sounds like a good amount to improve.
but for 40 min, 2-3 min stretch, 5 min basics- 20 min combos-15min hardcore- just get that 2-3 min stretch in, so more like 43 min lol

because you're still young
you're legs don't need so much exercise
just wait a few more years and they'll start to stiffen up if you don't stretch

Just so you guys know, you should never stretch cold muscles. This will make you more likely to hurt yourself. Make sure you are fully warmed up before you stretch. You can even do dynamic stretches which are more or less warming up by starting slowly than moving on to more flexible and dynamic movements. You should stretch after each workout. This will prevent some soreness and stiffness the next day.

40 mins seems short but honestly its not that bad! I train about 30 mins to 1 hour a day and am fairly happy with my improvement so if you really are dedicated you can see lots of improvement too!

Start off by spending 5-10 mins on the warm up, doing basics (atw htw hatws both feet)
Move onto doing tatws/matws/atatws/amatws both feet for another 10 mins

For the rest of the session I plan on exactly what I want. For example, if I want to improve my nts, I work on doing amatw htw nt both ways then do amatw amatw nt both ways etc. If I want to improve latws, I'll do as many latws in a combo and do 3latw combo for example. Hope you get the idea, even though you'll have about 20-25 mins left in your session, practice hard cuz it's the best you can do! Has been working for me so far, hope it works for you too
