guys, sorry a bit off-topic here but what type of shoes would you recommend if you are looking for a pair of nice comfortable shoes with flat soles for sits but still reasonably light for lowers?

Spoiled LA brat.
If you train seriously on hard surfaces (lowers on concrete especially), you're bound to go through at least 3-4 pairs of shoes per year.

It's what you do that counts, but it's how you do it which separates you from the rest.

I recently bought the Puma Dallas Mazarine which is more of a casual shoe but I've found them quite comfortable and light.
