proll
« on: Dec 08, 2011, 09:49: AM »
With my sideheadstalls becoming quicker/more consistent, I'm trying to learn the proll and its variants (rproll, aproll), but I don't know where to start. Can anyone help me out?

P.S., I've seen Sam's aproll tutorial, but it doesn't help me unless I know proll/rproll first.

dis ain't dat difficult dudy.... jst practice side 2side head in front n once u master at it practice side 2 side behind d head FROM YOUR WEAK SIDE HEAD 2 D STONG SIDE HEAD it's gonna help u in all 3 rolls if u c carefully normally PROLL starts frm strong temple going thru d weak temple rolling frm behind n den 2 d strong temple 1ce again i.e. in my case d stong temple is d right one so if i'm doin a proll i wud stall d ball on right temple roll it 2 d left temple(in front) den in d same motion widout pause roll it frm left 2 right (behind d head) n talkin about sam's tut. of aproll it's damn good n like him i wud advise u 2 practice d rproll first b4 anything else btw don't give too much attention 2 d pace in d beginning it's about control.... n all it takes is jst hardcore practice... :great: :098:

You should learn to do back of the head side head roll. Both ways.

proll sounds funny..
The nitrophosphate process (also known as the Odda process) was a method for the industrial production of nitrogen fertilizers invented by Erling Johnson in the city of Odda, Norway around 1927.

How do I improve speed/consistency. I have been training SHS-SHS for hours each day, but I don't feel like I'm getting any more consistent.

Highest I've gotten is 18, but I can only do 6 consistently.

What I did when I was learning sideheadstalls, is just put the ball on the side of my head, and memorize my body position. Imagine stalling the ball on your foot, your foot is in a specific position to keep the ball from moving.

When you do a sideheadstall, your body is in a certain position so the ball does not roll off. Remember this position. Then when doing SHS-SHS try to get your body in that same position. It's kind of a memory game. If you want to get consistent at doing sideheadstalls,
First:
When yuo do SHS-SHS try stalling it on each side of your head for at least 5 seconds, this will build up your memory of the position you need to be in when you try going faster
Next, learn doing from a neckstall to sideheadstall, you want to be able to do neckstall-left SHS, and Neckstall-Right SHS.
Then speed will come when you just try to go faster.
BONER!

Any tips on back sideheadstall? I can usually get it weak-strong, but almost never strong-weak.
