Freestyle Videos / Re: weakest combo in the world hahaha
« on: Oct 03, 2012, 09:46: AM »
to make you and guys like you, and like me watch it... or haven't you noticed, almost every video in this forum has maximum 30 VIEWS (not comments, views) which is a litle bit sad for the best forum in freestyle football and all that.. hell it worked even for obtaining some comments.. so great title if you think at it this way... bad combo though! i mean weakest !

3
The judges gave a draw, and in the extraround they voted him as Winner !
battle quarter finals:

Stefan Florescu (Romanii au talent) vs Alexandru "AL" Stan Battle de Freestyle Cine a fost mai bun?

4
BTW, if you watch Jamie's previous battles from this competition, you'll see he repeated the same sets throughout the entire competition, so that was surely one of the reasons why he lost in the final.

This is one of the most stupid things about these competitions and judging. If judges think like this, they are totally wrong ! They should judge battles individually ! That's why there are different batles stages, quarters, semis, and A FINAL ! If what he did in the final was way better than what the other one did in the final, then he should be THE WINNER! NO DOUBT ABOUT IT !!!

In my posts about Prague, I stated some good parts and appreciated stuff, and if you would really want to be fair and read, you would see, but instead, some say I only criticise and i'm gealous because i wasn't there :))) - so, wrong !

"WFFC" - that implies something! it's not just a meeting. it wasn't ment to be just a meeting, I'm sure! Some people should really make up their minds about this.

I think the most important discussion in all this, was that about the system of competition in battle tournament, about the fact that a participant should bring new stuff every battle in order to be appreciated by the jury and have chances to go through. THINGS SHOULDN"T BE LIKE THIS !

@ LIS - I already stated my arguments about what have been said, but I wanted to add something towards the guy who is an admin and insulted me. and by the way, if you read, he didn't commented on what i've said either, just about the money part... and he just wanted to point me down.  Why didn't you express your opinion about what's been said ?

@bigmac - not sure what was your intention, but it's great that my video gets more exposure with your help.
@batr - clearly you don't know what 'troll' means in the internet world/dictionary . PS: if you stay with shitty people, you become a shitty one yourself !

@colemorgan426 - Yeah... .who knows what consequences your guys' posts may have, i might go try kill myself now, and then burn my rope.

to any admin i can't say anything anymore, cause I don't want to be called a retard, or stuff like that, if he may not agree with me. and by the way, an admin should do this, by the mind of ethan: "to stop the ideas of people like you being read by new people coming into the community, because you are entirely wrong" :wtf:

Hey Ady, how can you expect people to enter in here and post things, people who really think about certain topics, and maybe have some opinion like "hey I don't think I would like that thing at a competition, if I competed" , and not just kiss asses of the legends, or guys who do insane combos "wow sick, you are GOD" ?
How can they do that when admins that you put, insult them. of course they would, if they would have a character, and trusted their believes, but I think you get my point...

wow AL you speak SOOOOOOOOOOO much shit it is unbelievable. that was insanely boring to read, so just the first thing i wanna say is can you try and break up your huge blocks of text in the future?

now for the actual argument, i would say Dan completely overhyped this. It was nowhere near as exciting as he made out and the way it has been phrased shows Clem in a bad light. Not fair whatsoever, all Clem did was initiate some form of minor rivalry to make the battle more interesting (the guy has a bboy background so unlike a lot of freestylers, he actually knows how to BATTLE. Too many people just did 30 seconds of a show in each round, there is no way it should be like that.

as for the updates, YOU try being at the world championships with 130 other freestylers and trying to take time out just to update others on whats going on...its ANNOYING. it isnt fun. i tried to write one post per day but there was only wireless in the lobby in the hotel and believe it or not when you're at the world champs in prague, u dont wanna be sitting on your laptop all day!

finally, money situation...here i think you are just plain stupid. do you have some kind of retarded understanding of the current awareness freestyle has? seems you do. Freestyle is not yet at a stage where huge sponsorship (enough to pay judges etc) is possible. the only way it is possible is to immensely commercialise the sport, which is what has been done for Kuala Lumpur. If prague had that kind of commercialisation, it would lose all its atmosphere, community spirit and it would all just be money money money...but hey, all you seem to care about is money right?

WTF - and you've been made admin... pfff.. and you all(all meaning some 4-5 guys) started a few weeks ago to cry about the comunity and the energy of freestyle world and especcially about this forum, thinking how to boost it up and make people comment more and interact more with others in here... but now all you do is diss others when they decently comment about things just because they don't agree with you or criticise some action that you took part of .. YEAH.. some admin ?! And the way you do it... because all that bothers me is the fact that you insulted me calling me stupid and that i have "retarded understanding of things" .

It's clearly that you were just pissed of cause i critisized an event where you were involved being in great relashionship with the guys there, and ina way it's understandable when you're part of something, even if it has down points you really don't want to point them out because overall you had great time and shit...

And again about the comunity - already one day from my post - and there was atleast one thing really not reffering to a person, but to the way a battle freestyle competition should be judged about that crap about having to do new stuff every battle - and almost no reactions, i mean realy opinions, with arguments sustaining a cause or an idea . So many users in here and shit almost no posts just pointless shitty silly ones about unimportant things .....

You ethan didn't say anything about that. you just wanted to point me down saying it was so boring to read, and that i talk so much shit... I really think it wasn't shit at all - and again I would like as some of the 5000 members this forum has, to express their opinions about stuff that is commented in here... but they're most of them opinionless . just like one forum in Romania, I started an argument based on facts and events, and shitty guys stayed low and didn't comment just because they didn't want to show their oposite opinions than others, and they preferred to say nothing.

SO yeah! way the go with boosting the comunity spirit ! it really works ! .. not..

wow people are shittier and more and more hypocrite . and all that for absolutely no strong reason, and trying to force a conclusion even when they know it isn't so, it isn't true.

anyway... about whole prague thing: some days ago i stated some opinions, complex ones about more than one aspect of this whole competition (although, many don't know for sure what it was, comp. or meeting with fancy name ??!!) to start with the begginning i did all those remarks exactly because i've really been into it, even though i wasn't there, i was really excited about this comp. an really wanted to find videos and news about what's happening there as soon as possible. I've been more atracted by a FS comp than ever.. don't know exactly why. anyway I praised many things about it ! is was awesome... just some disapointments about fresh news, and low reactions.
I've been pointed down on this forum for some opinions, just because i wasn't there.
Lucaso posted a really good post saying a lot of things, most of them I agree with, and appreciated that he admitted his mistakes for some bad parts of the whole thing.
But, still If you want to make it a world champs as you call it, paying for the judges becomes first priority. some other shmuck said i'm greedy or something because i think only at money or stuff like that, but in a normal society, and collaborations between people, when you ask someone for their services, as part of your event or whatever, than you really should repay them in some way. I mean, what if you were engaged by a firm company, or some guy who organizes an even in the park, to do a FS LP for them just like that with no money, how would that be? not just oncew.. but all the times by every company you could work with... you might say "oh, fuck you AL, you don't know that I actually did perform some time without getting paid, people do that" well OK you 'good samaritean' maybe you did many did, but come on a few times to make your image bigger at the beginning, but in the end you will always ask for money or other reward for you performing at that guys event and so, contributing  to image and quality of that event.

""  Battles are mainly about to show something new in every single round. Not to do only great stuff which everybody knows you can do properly but show some more variety and creativity "" lucaso said

i really don't agree with that. Are you serious? come on! nobody came to argue with that ? One battle should stand for it self. there are 3 minutes each does his 30 sec round, and the one who's better wins! that's how it should be! I could do the same exact shit in every battle until the final, IF I am better than what my oponent did in every one of those battles then I shoulg definately go through! If anyone thinks things shouldn't be like this then it's really crazy! and sad. and if a competition at this level would go through any other way than this way, than it is shit, and I wouldn't want to be a part of that competition.

Dan the man posted here a topic, asking for the battle between those guys calling it the "grudge battle" , and by doing this, and by the comentary he posted later on about the situation, it's clear that he is pretty excited and interested about this whole thing, wright ? He would say that "it was honestly the coolest thing ive ever witnessed" and "It's ok if it was a head to head battle" so doing some cocky gesture in a battel, or competition, things that would pretty much mean trying to own someone is cool and interesting, and spices up things in such contests and he would like.
Hey man, I totally agree with him ! but guess what, some days ago his opinion was quite opposite different!

the judges dont even get paid

but I have to say big-ups for going on the microphone after, and he said "i didnt mean to disrespect, and im sorry." so big respect for that, coz it takes a lot of balls to apologize too..

I think we can all just be friends and leave this behind, and btw if you werent there you will never properly understand the atmosphere or situation of it, so your opinion is pointless
how can they not pay them for being judges ? that's really fucked up ! and you talk about respect and appreciating what they did.. how the fuck can the organizers not pay them.. I would be really ashamed to ask them to come and sit there a lot of time with no payment.

If he said 'no disrespect' - that's good because that's also what i think, and people took it otherwise, BUT to say you're sorry after you do that kind of statement/gesture is kind of shitty, I wouldn't appreciate that, on the contrary - because this way, he tries to get good with everybody (the ones who liked it, will remain with that, the ones who thought "insult" will maybe accept the appology ) That's the crapiest shit ever.. i hate it when people do that.. turn around. because that's what im sorry means, you kind of take it back, right ? so wtf is this... you either DO/SAY something or you don't !

and about this:  " if you werent there you will never properly understand the atmosphere or situation of it, so your opinion is pointless " - my opinion is pointless because i wasn't there ???? WTF that's stupid! how can you say that ?

Exactly ... almost noone commented about things of this championship, and I made 2 posts saying some opinions about what i would like to see and hear from home about this comp and some about what i've seen from the very few clips that were posted etc.. that says again, very very much about the 'FS comunity ' as you call it...
A championship like this and so few reactions... the fact that some one from home comments more than the ones that were there is pretty sad for freestyle expansion and all that shit...

I clearly stated my opinion on what i've seen and heard about what happened there with gunther, and I really think you should think twice before you say 'insulted' or "disrespected" - i mean come on... on short terms he said to them "you're not good at freestyle, i'm better, all you do is easy stuff for show" what's so insulting about that.. it's his opinion about their freestyle. im gonna repeat what i've said above.. saying that i also don't agree that what he does is freestyle-football and what they do is not.
I think this is the most awesome way of owning somebody at a sport - just doing what they do and more. That's what he was trying to do... as i said it was not quite right, because those guys also do a lot of other stuff.

When it comes to the spreading of information and results about this whole championship, things kind of sucked; even though some guys tried to spread some stuff over here.
S3 did a pretty good job with that twitter account .
I mean for such a huge championship with so many contestants, should put a lot of info very clear at the end of every day of the competition, but not even now after a few days they are not doing that...
i mean the entire tabels of groups and battles, the number of routines etc. How many freestylers showed up in total competing?

Anyway some very sick stuff going on there. Skora - man of the Championship . he reached an insane level of aircombos and he proved it and showed it all there in front of all those freestylers.
Zegan doing this
Zegan Sick 3
OMG
Michryc variations of sole stall are absolutely awesome !  CRAZY

About Gunther - I don't think he should have been disqualified from the sick 3 comp., because he didn't insult anybody, he didn't hit anybody (only maybe at the end when he throws the ball, maybe he hit Sean in the head, I don't know i wasn't there, and u can't see from that footage) .

People who are saying that he insulted the jury with what he did, are wrong! insulting is when you make someone a prick or asshole and stuff like that..
it's true that he kind of made fun of their level of freestyle, wanting to say that what they do is not realy freestyle-football, and that those things they do are too easy - obviously his opinion. He battled them if you want, but through freestyle, not insulting in personal ways (human moral way, so to speak) it was all about freestyle, and i don't really think that was very wrong and condemnable.

He did it in a certain way - that was clear for everybody, some kind of cocky way, maybe arrogant, but after all it was a thing for entertainment of the crowd, and he really has some skills to back that up in a way, I mean he also prooved that he can also do other stuff other than the usual nt hardcore combo, and then pulled of some really crazy shit.

the only thing where i don't agree with his message, is the part where he wants to say that those moves represent those freestylers. When in fact, Sean for example, does a lot of other stuff of pure freestyle, and even some airmoves, he showed it several times. And I think it's valid also for the others that he reffered to.

I don't think that kind of surface is very good for freestyle at it's highest level, because you have too much grip on it; when you jump from the ground for air combos, it's harder to detach from the ground, to lose touch so to say, because it's not a smooth surface but one with very small bumps (cause that's how the athletics running track is). I don't know why people from there say it's perfect, i don't think so, maybe not really bad either, but definately not the best.
and about the stage, it does give the whole thing a bigger impact and atmosphere, but as I think there aren't much spectators anyways, it doesn't have much diference for the competitors.

This entire world champs being held there on a stadium, doesn't seem a good idea, exactly because of the accesibility of the non freestylers spectators, last year that stage was in open space right, so that was better because people could see what's happening a lot easier and could have been atracted even if they didn't knew from before about the contest.

Great thing with the news about what's happening there, but I would have expected a lot more, i'm not refering to the organizers because they re pretty buzy i gues, but some other guys to do just this - film stuff, report stuff, and even interviews with competitors from teh middle of the whole thing would have been a awesome thing for those like me who stay at home and want to know what's happening there.

Crazy level of competition !!!

Gautier's Routine

Clyde's Routine

Great atmosphere and awesome stuff from a lot of the guys. I got to say that Gautier impressed me the most he was awesome, and luki as well he was sweet!

Luki's Routine

Skora's Routine

Zegan's routine

SATW AHMATWnt combo

Melody & Andreas :))))))

I think oli should shut up more and i'm especially referring to the performances/routines of course, because the guys have their own music right, so they have a plan at least most of them of how they would like their routine to go, flow with the music, creating an impression to the jury and the public (witch by the way, seems to be very small, i guess almost only the freestylers) so oli talking about their history of competitions isn't quite good.. :) just saying, what the competitors feel about this?
