BTW, if you watch Jamie's previous battles from this competition, you'll see he repeated the same sets throughout the entire competition, so that was surely one of the reasons why he lost in the final.
)) - so, wrong !
wow AL you speak SOOOOOOOOOOO much shit it is unbelievable. that was insanely boring to read, so just the first thing i wanna say is can you try and break up your huge blocks of text in the future?
now for the actual argument, i would say Dan completely overhyped this. It was nowhere near as exciting as he made out and the way it has been phrased shows Clem in a bad light. Not fair whatsoever, all Clem did was initiate some form of minor rivalry to make the battle more interesting (the guy has a bboy background so unlike a lot of freestylers, he actually knows how to BATTLE. Too many people just did 30 seconds of a show in each round, there is no way it should be like that.
as for the updates, YOU try being at the world championships with 130 other freestylers and trying to take time out just to update others on whats going on...its ANNOYING. it isnt fun. i tried to write one post per day but there was only wireless in the lobby in the hotel and believe it or not when you're at the world champs in prague, u dont wanna be sitting on your laptop all day!
finally, money situation...here i think you are just plain stupid. do you have some kind of retarded understanding of the current awareness freestyle has? seems you do. Freestyle is not yet at a stage where huge sponsorship (enough to pay judges etc) is possible. the only way it is possible is to immensely commercialise the sport, which is what has been done for Kuala Lumpur. If prague had that kind of commercialisation, it would lose all its atmosphere, community spirit and it would all just be money money money...but hey, all you seem to care about is money right?
the judges dont even get paidhow can they not pay them for being judges ? that's really fucked up ! and you talk about respect and appreciating what they did.. how the fuck can the organizers not pay them.. I would be really ashamed to ask them to come and sit there a lot of time with no payment.
but I have to say big-ups for going on the microphone after, and he said "i didnt mean to disrespect, and im sorry." so big respect for that, coz it takes a lot of balls to apologize too..
I think we can all just be friends and leave this behind, and btw if you werent there you will never properly understand the atmosphere or situation of it, so your opinion is pointless
)))))
just saying, what the competitors feel about this?
