And my argument had nothing to do with hands, just that people with a different style should be equally respected and appreciated :)

Yo Max, some people are show stylers so they train to entertain and to wow audiences. I think that is the coolest thing about freestyle. There are a lot of styles out there and we can train the tricks we want to learn. There is no limits. All styles should receive respect and there should not be hate within the sport.. especially from well known freestylers who need to set and example. I am not naming people i am just stating thats the way our sport should be

Faruk was one of the judges though? Why did Martin refuse to shake hands? Wrong decision but i didn't think the guy who won was bad.. martin clearly better

PWG and Luki win this for me.. soo stylish, creative, clean and all round. Mirkos lowers was just insane, but would be nice to see more ball tricks and less leg tricks.. still respect!

Interesting topic, i have a similar view.
I recently uploaded a video, my style is creative/block. I had a lot of hate on the video from people in the FS community. I feel there is so much pressure to do these air combos. I have respect for every style and enjoy it, but over the last few years i have watched freestyle evolve from an art form to a competitive sport. People so focused on landing the next big trick, the style has gone. When people ask me what Freestyle is, i say its an art form of self expression, i love to mix dance and love to FS to music and try tricks out.I really love it, but there is so much hatred within the community now, i do not like to come to the forums often anymore as they are not discussions but more arguments. I just wish everyone could respect each other styles and level of ability.

I couldn't agree more about the point about beginners not being able to FS with advanced, it really seems that way, and its sad that is the way freestyle has evolved. I love to help beginners and love to teach and share my passion with others. Anyway, maybe i am wrong.. but i have been thinking about this a lot recently.

Respect to all, peace

Totally agree bro! ^^ just saying, its more about what the leg can do rather what you can do with the ball. I think everyone needs to respect all styles, i just get mad when people hate on my vids for not doing around the worlds. I do the tricks i enjoy to do and that is what FREEstyle is all about ;)

Hardcore is just kicking the ball straight up and throwing your legs around it, the skill-full part is what your legs are doing, not what you are doing with the ball. Freestyle use to be about control/creativity/transitions/style.. now days the focus is so much on getting that next hard trick, most don't care for style or execution, if they can somehow throw their legs to rotate again in the air. Even if it is incredibly ugly... repetitive.. i  respect hardcore and i think FS needs hardcore stylers but i wish other styles were respected equally and trained equally.

Style 100%
