Major respect to you guys for doing this annually.

Honestly though, I think you should have more "concrete" rules, I've looked at the majority of the 2011 entrants and 95%+ are invalid.  Sure, some are sick.  But a 30s clip with 5+tricks in a combo is stupid imo.

Ok so I think alot of people that have been freestyling for atleast a few years should think there own style is the nicest unless they kinda like to copy a little of someone elses style.... Like some people say to me... oh Andy matteee maybe your style isnt always so normal because I move around alot, but I love moving around alot and for me this is the most enjoyable style personally so hence why I do it. I hope you understand.... I mean in fs terms like you guys all stay.... I love rocco, skora and tiernan etc but for me I dont try to do there style tricks. Sometimes I find it funny....because I guess people think I have to do a cross-ahtatw with the nt head height....but really I can do it as low as anyone... it is just because I prefer to do it like that.

Interesting.. I've always respected your overall ability but was never a fan of your style, sorry.  Do you think it's worth sacrificing your style to make your routine more crowd pleasing? (for non freestylers).  The reason I'm guessing that most freestylers don't like moving around too much is that it doesn't look as controlled.  Personally, I couldn't enjoy freestyle if I wasn't at least content with my style.

you can't do airstyle tricks/combos in sitdown, that's just wrong, stupid and ugly
Amen. Personally, I don't give a crap if it was clean, because it looks horrible & I hope you'll remain the only one who does it.

Off topic: I find it quite amusing how some guys are so quick to point out when someone else does something unclean, even to the degree of insulting those who think otherwise, but they're nowhere to be heard when some of their friends or idols does the same. Fucking hypocrites...

P.S. @Max_RF: watch your language & stop insulting others, otherwise you'll get a ban. You can present your arguments without talking like you've got Tourette's. ;)

It's not that it's just unclean, he claims as though it's clean.  I have no problem whatsoever if someone has an unclean style, just don't publicly announce that it isn't.  You can't claim to have invented a new trick if you haven't landed it, he didn't even go around the ball, hence he hasn't landed it.

In low air we do the revolutions from above, it covers the ball from front wiew, this counts as a revolution.
In sitts we do the revolutions from below because our knee is under the ball.
If u get around the ball, with your foot or sole, is also counts.
it is basicly a knee cross-alatw nt but these two tricks are very related so I think it can be considered as one trick. As I know, I did it first in the world, that's why I named it Kvartam trick.

thanks for the posisitve comments :)

From what I bolded, how can this even be considered logical?  So why does anyone ever actually bother going around the ball..?  If you do any amount of crossovers, depending on how high you kick the ball up, your knee WON'T always be below the ball.

Your stupidity frustrates me.  I'd also like to add that anyone with a sense of style and freestyle morals is never going to bother to learn this hideous leg twirl that you call a trick.

I looked at the video in slow motion and it is as clean as possible, of course if someone wants to bitch about Kvartinho then they will say it is not clean and that everyone who says otherwise is blind and stupid. Well, Fuck you too!!

congratulations Kvartinho and huge respect.

P.S. to call a person who does hardcore combos 'our God' means to be having serious issues.

How is it as clean as possible? More than half of the trick was unclean.  It's not even that his 3rd revolution isn't clean, his 2nd is miles off.

P.S. to call a person who doesn't go around the ball at all 'as clean as possible' means that you're in denial and blind.

Help and Advice / Re: i need help, buying New freestyle shoes
« on: Oct 22, 2011, 08:18: PM »
Just buy any shoes, think about it, you're going to be through at least 1 pair of fs shoes every year.  You might aswell learn to adapt to different types of shoes because the model of shoe won't be there everytime.

Freestyle Chat / Re: Matchup #1: Gautier vs. MichRyc
« on: Sep 21, 2011, 09:33: AM »
I would have to choose MichRyc, but not by much.  the difference for me is the style.  MichRyc is a little more organized.  While being creative he keeps his style nice and clean.

On the other hand, Gautier is a little messier.  Sometimes he pulls off his moves nicely, but a lot of the time there is something that looks messy.  He is more creative than MichRyc, but MichRyc has more airmoves while still being creative.

Also, why does Gautier always wear jeans?  I would think it hinders his freestyler.

Combos are only hard in jeans, block tricks etc. are actually easier.

Yes, I can name a few who can do it, however to my knowledge Tokura and Yamato are the only individuals who I feel as though are competent at performing the trick consistently.

So does anyone know how to do it?

Is this trick possible?

Yamato and Tokura are exempt from this question.
