Couldn't really tell you how long it takes to get to intermediate or hardcore, since a lot of people confuse rollers with "hardcore uppers."long hair haha! but what do you mean to not sacrifice style? oh yh, and what is considered a "good" style in uppers? like in lowers it would be juggling smooth, with toes below knee level, so in uppers...? thanks
You'll be able to tell when you are good, you will have a fast flow.
To train, I usually start by just doing every trick I know how to do. Unlike lowers, we do not have a mass amount of tricks, so style/speed is what we aim for.
When training try to get:
1. A really low around the moon ------ don't throw the ball 100 feet in the air like most people, the lower the around the moon, the better it looks.
2. A flow ----- it takes time to achieve a flow, but basically, try and do all the tricks you know in one combo as fast as you can --- do not sacrifice style
3. Incorporate body tricks --- try to get really good at going into chest rolls FAST. Study 1:14 in the luki video, speed is a must in body tricks
4. Long hair --- you want to look like turlakov so people will think you are amazing!
smae here!!! lol i just say that the ball i have breaks really easily if you start to play footy with it and if you kick it hard and stuff it will soon break... they dont play football, but they do try to do keepie uppies tho lol not good tho :lol_hitting:ºWhat about if you take a ball to school like I do?? ;)
Play at recess and lunch!!
Peace
lol the only bad thing is that, people might ask you if you wanna play football, and if you tell them nah this ball is only for freestyle that might think you're a cocky bitch.
The best way is to do it gradually. A slight increase is much better than to train until you can't move.you mean coach, right?
Think about it, does a football couch tell you to run 10km on the first day, does a power lifter start off on 200kg bench press?
you mean breaks for like 5-10 mins in your session, or breaks like days were you don't freestyle?i mean breaks of 3-5 mins
srry for failing the quote thing lol
fun isn't a word i would ever use to describe freestyle, so no in answer to your question no freestyle is not fun (for me).same
but...i can't think of anything more satisfying/rewarding than freestyle. When you land a trick/combo you've been training for its undescribable. anybody who has reached one of the milestones in fs will know what im talking about (your first proper nt, your first patw etc).
So when i compare the amount of training time vs the amount of satisfaction, is it worth it? YES YES YES
i have the same years in freestyle ass blazej and i´ve been in situations were my level picks up and then something happens or my interest isn't the same but from all those years i know that freestyle for me is beyond a sport and is beyond of having fun do in it, is the only thing that make´s me relax and realise stress, and I will keep on freestyling in till the day I´l die, and the good part is that im taking my lowers to the next level.
Yes I want to be a fitness trainer when I am older and from what I have learned you should always choose water to hydrate. Good job manhaha. i think the best way to get better in stamina is just to practice until your very last breath, until the point where you really cant move your legs. and also have a lot of breaks
