Well, you can see my real name in the credits.
It's Giovanni Don Mario Ilio Peppe S. Back in the days it wasnt allowed to put the "don" in front of the first name if you weren't actually a "don", but since i like it and some call me like that i put it in the video.

yeah, i have to admint that i got some serious problems with the first revolution when i do them with the right foot.
my tricks are cleaner with left but i need like 50 tries to get them down once lol.
i am working on it ;)

i am happy that i almost only get positive feedback about the idea, but not very much people seem to be interested in a freestyle session (yet)
whatever, we will see. maybe the vid and the idea will get viral in the community

i am working in a specialist counseling in an insurance. (sooo boring)  + i don't manage to fs more than 1hr a day cause of work :-/
the trip is only possible cause i managed to "freeze" my job for a year and i still live at home.
otherwise it would have been impossible to safe enough money for the trip. - or i would have needed at least 5 more years.

well, i will travel low budget. i will sleep in a tend in germany + scandinavia or at friends places + couchsurfing.
once i am out of europe i think that i will be able to pay hotels or smth. alike.
otherwise it would be impossible to survive a year without actually gaining money.
So as you can imagine i won't have tooo much money.

EDIT: i wanted to say that my route is not "fixed" if lots of people from poland or holland (for example) will reply i will change the route. i just want to go to asia and since the only way in the south is through turkey - armenia - iran i want to go up north crossing russia.

so, it would be awesome if you guys will spread the word! =)

Freestyle Chat / Personal freestyle world tour (with you?)

Hi there,

my name is giovanni, i am living in germany.
I am 21 yrs. old and it happened that in april 2k13 i will stop working for a year.
I will use this year to get on my yellow bike and see the world.
Since i always loved to play football (and i will might need s.o. to talk to from time to time) i will take my ball with me.

So, what does this have to do with you?

Since i will get bored riding a bike the whole time and i'd like to meet people from every country to get in touch with the culture and so on it would be awesome if we freestyle/play football together.

So i am asking you to post here/leave me a message or alike in case you are interested.
Just tell me your city+country.
Depending on how many people will answer i might spend a thought on making this big. (blog, videos, whatever)
I would adapt my route to your location and pass by.

My starting route is following.
Munich (ger) - Scandinavia - Estonia - Latvia - Lithuania - Russia - Mongolia (?) - China -
(?) means that i am not sure yet if i will cross that country.
I will then proceed through asia (japan/south korea and so on)
In case i still have time + money i will go on to latin america and back to europe.

You might ask yourself some questions:
Why are you doing this?
I was alone in vietnam for a month and had a balll. (crossed the country north - south)
Although i am fluent in german/english/italian and some spanish it wasn't easy to find english-speaking people.
Since i am s.o. who wants to live the place i go to i used the power of a ball and body language to get in touch with locals.
That's how i met lots of awesome people and had unbelievable fun!

Isn't it dangerous?
crossing the street is always dangerous, but if you don't do it you will always wonder what might be on the other side.

I am excited to see how big the community is.
i will appreciate everyone who response/gives me advice or alike!

Here's a video of my currents skill level.
As you can see i am a beginner in freestyle and even the moves i can do are not even close to clean, but that's just a matter of time.
I did martial arts tricking before what i stopped practicing after injuring my neck while doing a frontflip. Before that i did taekwondo.
I stopped playing football in a team at age 13, but i always loved and will love to play on the streets.

So long,
see you soon ;)
