Elimination RBSS this year in Poland was a bit different. MichRyc didn't start as a rest for the time being and perhaps mainly focuses on the F3 World Tour. On the issue of Luki, then he couldn't go to Żerków because he had an important exam at the university. Mikołaj while was on vacation.
I didn't know that! It's just too bad, cause Luki is one of my favourite freestylers!!

I think I've read somewhere the price of winning the f3 tour is really big, while winning Prague is mostly about gaining respect. I guess that's the reason why Michryc wanted to save his stuff for later rounds of the tour
Yes, I think you're right.. for every step of the tour there is a smaller prize (think it was like 15.000 (not dollars, euros or pounds, but some arab money I think) in Dubai), and then there is a pretty big prize for the winner of the whole tour, of course including the smaller ones, which means that MichRyc will actually earn quite a lot of money by winning this tour when he has already won the first 2 comps.. not saying MichRyc does this for money, cause I don't think that is the case, I just think he's saving his energy for the tour because he already has this big chance to win it and because it includes (almost) all the best freestylers in the world, meaning he would also earn respect + popularity + title of World Champion.

First, I completely agree with redsforlife. It's too hard to decide who's the best and it's wrong to try, cause it's all a matter of opinion.
Secondly, the thing you said Adi..
This is a big issue.  It's like not having Spain, Bayern, Barcelona, Miami Heat, or the Yankees take part in competitions.
There are few competitions, and the top freestylers should participate in all.  Strange to say the least.
I clearly understand where you're getting at, but I kinda disagree with that! I know that there's been a lot of discussion around this subject, but I think it's important still that the freestyle scene is not only about money and winning competitions! Of course it is way more fun to watch a freestyle competition with the best freestylers in the world battling, I think that too! But I also think it is cool that some of the really top freestylers doesn't compete in all there is of competitions. Another reason for that is also that relatively "new" freestylers would feel kind of intimidated from participating in comps if they knew that they had no chance at all because they would be up against MichRyc, Andrew, Charly and Szymo. With that I don't mean that the top freestylers should be stopped in entering all competitions, not at all, but I'm just trying to see upsides and downsides.

Having a top dog to be the almost unbeatable favourite every time wouldn't be nice imo. It would be much more less fun to watch if you just knew that MichRyc would win. At this moment we have so many candidates to take the victory, also in the F3 World Tour. Charly does some of the hardest lowers, complex stalls and is just an amazing freestyler, Tobias the same, Andrew and Szymo maybe the best allrounders overall with great lowers, crazy (especially Szymo ofc) uppers and A LOT of variety often along with originality. Luki of course has AMAZING uppers, crazy creativity/originality and sick style. I probably forgot so many, yeah we have Gunther, Tokura, Pedrinho.. But what they seem to lack, (here I mean Gunther and Tokura) is variety! Tokura, yeah he's an amzing freestyler! But damn he does the same in EVERY battle, nothing new! Kind of the same with Gunther.. he lacks originality!

Firstly, I totally agree with Adi on the first post. If he entered I'm sure he would reach the final in almost every competition, including RBSS. Just too bad that he decided not to enter RBSS. I think you are right, Jrk, that he wants to hide his level for the World Tour, but I don't understand why he didn't enter/win last year's polish RBSS?? Anybody know anything about that? :)
Actually, det same for Luki (or not the same, not at all actually), but why doesn't he enter RBSS? Ofc it's hard to win the Polish championships, but as far as I know he didn't even compete? Btw, imo, if Luki got consistent on all of his tricks, he would be seriously good, one of the best, if not THE best.

Freestyle Chat / Re: Good Nike or Adidas shoes?
« on: Jul 03, 2013, 09:50: PM »
at first, i'd like to recommend nike elastico, but as you say, they are very hard to get in decent colours and you can't really wear them on the daily! though they are the best lower shoes in my opinion..
taking all of your requests into consideration, I think the Adidas Gazelle (OG) would be perfect. Although it takes a little time to get used to, I think they are okay for lowers, + it has a cool design to be used casually too :)

I definitely think Tokura had an impact on acrobatic freestyling, but maybe more just the backflip thing (which I btw think is a little overused.. personally I don't like it :) ) cuz I think acrobatics were becoming more popular even before Tokura's victory.
