You must decide the tactics, find and hire the perfect coaching staff, train your players best as you can and expand the club's infrastructure - All to get as close as you can to promotion, championships and, possibly, the Champions Cup of your region!

It's basically Football Manager but you play against other people in real time.

Just came across this video of a game called chinlone:

From wikipedia:

Chinlone is the traditional sport of Burma (Myanmar). Chinlone is a combination of sport and dance, a team sport with no opposing team. In essence chinlone is non-competitive, yet it is as demanding as the most competitive ball games. The focus is not on winning or losing, but how beautifully one plays the game.

I like to think it is a variation of football because when you look up the defination of football it's just kicking the ball with your foot.  There are hundreds of football games.
For example normal football is actually called Association Football, there's also Rugby Football, Aussie Rules Football, Gaelic Football and loads more regional variations.
