Help and Advice / Re: Sole Juggles % Heel Juggles.
« on: Mar 20, 2013, 12:43: PM »
That would be a pretty impressive and yet boring training routine.
I would say at that rate you should get to be decent at sole juggles in a few weeks or a month and heels would be several months.
If you mean standing sole juggles then you should learn heels first, then another few weeks or couple months of sole training depending on how flexible you are.

There should be a compilation competition here! I think that would be pretty cool  :13:

Seems like it's only the 2 of you on the forum now-a-days...
I remember loving jooooonnnnnnnnnny's compilations! All of the creative freestyle is what got me into it in the first place.
Now the community is very different and focused on individuals and hardcore

If you want my advice, move more from the torso, rather than just with the head. Imagine you're kicking the ball on to a Neck Stall and than trying to duck/evade it. ;)
I prefer the look of just doing it with the head. I especially like the speed from it. When you use your whole body to duck it is slower and it makes tricks like gatm harder. I want to focus on getting it in the right position when I kick it up, closer to my body so I won't be ducking behind it at all. I was actually trying to do a double gatm, which was what got me in this bad habit. Never really came close to it though :(

Your all-round ability and variety are really good, this goes without even saying, but holly crap, those were some unclean Duckings. I'd highly recommend you work on that.

Also, personally, if possible, I'd like to see you a bit more relaxed when performing tricks, because you've got good execution and style, but you seem a bit rigid.

Best of luck in the competition!

I agree with those ducks and I started working on them recently
I think it was a new ducking trick I was trying a year or so ago that got me in this bad habit, and I just never filmed enough to notice it.

I think I prefer it when I see a crazy new freestyler for the first time, then can look back at his previous videos to see the progress.
You get the shock of a new awesome freestyler, plus you can appreciate the advancement.

nice sits :)

however when you do ducking tricks you don't go around the ball at all (first clip, and @1:24)

I'll check it out and see if I can improve  :great:
