this guy is retarded,
ronaldo has scored 8 goals in 10 games and dunga has said he will not play in the confed cup,
Romario, pele even the brazilian president have all said ronaldo should be given a chance before the world cup but this retard dunga said no
Do you guys think he should be selected for the Brazilian national squad one last time
-
not unless they can't find someone who is not 32, a gimp, and fat
-
ronaldo must play for brasil. his success will be determined on how well his teammates play. if they play well, ronaldo will score. ronaldo is still one the best finishers in the world, and his decision making on the ball is absolutely masterful. fat or not ronaldo the "o fenomeno"

his health and level of fitness are liabilities. you don't build your team around a player like that for a tournament over a year away. if he is healthy and playing well around the time on the tournament, you bring him along for his experience/ability. he's certainly one of the best players of his generation even w/all of his problems, but i don't think it's necessarily smart to rely on him.
he is still recovering for his most recent injury. incidentally, it was the same exact injury he suffered twice before.

well i never said they would be building a team around him, and i would hope brasil has the talent to bring to the table. if you have watched ronaldo for corinthians you know he must be on the team. his decision making is brilliant, and he takes most of his chances. the way he plays now reminds me in many ways of how romario used to play.

yeah, but i think w/his history, you should plan ahead i.e. don't include him in the conf. cup team. if he's still there in a year, then maybe you consider him

i haven't seen him play, but i can imagine
-

the guy has been in spectacular form, and the confed cup is in june

uhh, yeah, and i'm sure dunga is using the conf. cup to build for wc 2010.
we're only a year away. everyone is preparing
-
well you cant ignore a person like ronaldo can you?
play him in the confed cup if he does good keep him if not, dont play him simple.
i'm not saying ronaldo is gonna win the confed cup for brazil but i think he deserves a chance, i mean he will be retiring after the world cup, he is the all time highest world cup scorer, give him one last good bye

not w/abilities. yes w/his problems

I think the coaches should be allowed to run the team how ever they want. I agree with Dunga.
-
haha lol
Dunga has praised the latest comeback of three-time Player of the Year Ronaldo, and publicly stated in his latest press conference that a spot in the national team may still be on the table for the 32-year-old striker.
"I’ve said already that the national team doors are open for any player who is technically good enough," the coach began.
"He is certainly in excellent form and is being watched by the technical staff."
Since his return to football, playing for Corinthians in Brazil, Ronaldo has scored 10 goals in 13 appearances for the club, something that has been keeping him on the international radar of late.
"Ronaldo has never stopped scoring goals," Dunga continued.
"It’s the first time since 2006 that he has managed to play more than 10 games in a row, so the trend is for him to progress.
"He knows his potential. There is one year between now and the World Cup for everyone to work and earn a chance."
lol how can you ignore the legend R9

Hey man!
Paulista Championship in 2009, who scored more goals was Pedrão with 16 goals, the player of Grêmio Barueri.
Campeonato Mineiro in 2009, who else was Diego Tardelli scored goals with 16 goals, player of Atlético Mineiro.
We have Keirrison (Palmeiras, 13 goals), Washington (São Paulo, 12 goals), Kléber (Cruzeiro, 13 goals), etc..
Ronaldo has become only 8 goals in 6 th place in the artillery.
It is clear that Ronaldo is a great player and nobody doubts it, the more there are more players in Brazil who deserve a chance to go to the Brazilian team.
-
yeah but he soon wil be retiring so give him one last chance he wohnt dissappoint
-
Ronaldo is genius, had to play only the World Cup
hahaha
-
yeah but he needs match fitness
-
Actually now that I think of it no one deserves a second chance like Ronaldo. Bring him back.
-
haha lol
plaus he has being in excellent form, he is playing on the defenders and scoring goals, i seriously deserves a place
-
