Post by: Sule on Apr 19, 2009, 01:17: PM
Here you can guess what the final standings will be like. From the Big 4 to the relegation race.

1. Liverpool
2. Man Utd

4. Chelsea

SO ur more or less just straight out saying, Arsenal will lose all their games against the other 3 even though they havnt lost to any of them in the first fixtures of the season(where they beat Man U and Chelsea, and played better than Liverpool to get a 1-1 draw)

1-chelsea
2-manu
3-liverpool
4-arsenal

Chelsea are rarely the best going down the final stretch and I dont think they can catch the other two. If anything, I can feel a big injury to them (drogba/essien/lampard) ruin their final games where they will probably drop

Just my guess

no.  i'm saying that even if they were able to win all three, chelsea will have to falter 2 more times.  plus, if united win their game in hand, they go four points clear.  -a liverpool loss w/a united loss and there are 5 games to make up four.  that's a pretty considerable lead.  although, liverpool do have a significant GD advantage

big four fixtures are almost always close encounters.  flip your coin.  i'd bet against them going 3-0-0 over those three fixtures.

But one of Chelsea's losses will have come against Arsenal (according to my theory)
They also play Everton, West Ham, and Fulham, who are obviously not the favorites in the games but can still give Chelsea a run for their money seeing as these teams really have nothing to lose

anything can happen in football, arsenal could lose 7-1 or win 7-1, anything can happen in football

unless arsenal is able to make up a significant amount of GD, it will be in addition to.  so, you have the arsenal loss.  then, because of gd, chelsea still has to drop pts in two games

yeah, and it's possible that i could get in a car wreck on the way to school today and die, but that doesn't make it likely

how the hell do people think liverpool will win? united always have like 3948 games in hand and are always either level or up by a few points. i'm hoping arsenal can pull 3rd though

So true.

A few wins against the Big 4 and they can pull it off.
