Title: Shirt Numbers
Post by: Marquer on Mar 01, 2008, 01:27: AM
theres a history of famous football shirt numbers, Example: 10,9,7
Since over 70 years ago the best footballer of each team has always had the number 10, and the number 10 is always the team goalscorer, the number 7 is usually the team passer, the number 9 is usually the dribbler.
what number do you like, and why?

7 because of Ronaldo and Beckham. 8 is good too.

Post by: Marquer on Mar 01, 2008, 02:21: AM
so you like becks and ronaldo? the pretty boys, =D, alot of people dislike Becks because he is good looking, i think that if you want to be a liked footballer you have to be ugly, the uglier you are the more people will like you.

Well Becks was the first player I knew about, well obviously because everyone made a huge deal about him when I was younger. Then Ronaldo was chosen over Ronaldinho to play for Man Utd, and I didn't know much about him. But then his tricks and stuff impressed me, and when I was younger I always thought how he did that stuff, then I copied his moves and stuff and he has become my favourite player.

Becks was suppossed to play for Barcelona instead of Ronaldinho, but Laporta cuddent close the deal, and Real madrid got him, laporta was on the thread of being fired because he diddent close the becks deal

My number is 13. Although it may seems bad, I like it cause I always meet "13" in my life. And I'm not a Christian so I don't care.

Leave the guy alone. Maybe he wants a fresh start.

Anyways, I've had too many numbers to have a favorite one. 10 is obviously a classic, as well as 9, 7, and 11. I don't like 8. It's lame and barely any good players ever wore it.

Hristo Stoichkov did, that's enough to make it my second favourite
what a legend

Same 13 is the shit. Don't forget Gallas at Chelsea. I have a few lucky numbers and 13 is the most lucky. others include 3, 11, 23, and 24.  :pimp:

8 is my hockey number.  :cursing:

Ofcourse I wanted 7. Alexander Ovechkin is number 8 and he's amazing, and Rooney used to be 8.

he is a pretty good player but just like you said a beast.

but a real beast is Adriano
a beast who cant even do 50 juggles. Some brazilian guy told me that Adriano didnt have such good touch, so he always used his strength and speed, and as as result, couldnt do kore than 50 keepups.
Title: Re: Shirt Numbers
Post by: cigar omar on Mar 11, 2008, 07:19: PM
You don't need to juggle upto 50 to be a good footballer. Not saying Adriano is special.
Title: Re: Shirt Numbers
Post by: moby on Mar 11, 2008, 08:18: PM
dont you ever disrespect adriano like that. for all i know he is better then you and many other footballers. so screw you. adriano had so much skill and techniqe. add that to the speed and strengh what do you get. a world class player. maybe he is not soo good right now but at his prime he is better then what you and i could even imagine. so dont disrespect adriano. :stupid:

I say that about Ronaldo and then I'm classified as gay, .. but there are other reasons too..(Tito & I)  :booty:

chill...I think he is a very good player...better than any of us will ever be. Because of his strength and speed. Not his skill. He has mediocre skill. That is not taking away from his game at all, because thats not how he plays anyway.
Title: Re: Shirt Numbers
Post by: cigar omar on Mar 12, 2008, 06:56: PM
Hes actually a very good dribbler seriously hes got great step overs. The thing that annoys me most is him not being able to kick the ball with his right foot.
Title: Re: Shirt Numbers
Post by: moby on Mar 12, 2008, 09:01: PM
borg c.ronaldo is gay so if you admire a gay guy you are gay.  but adriano is not gay so i admire him as a role model not a gay one.

yeah people that are left footed almost never touch the ball with their right foot look at messi too.

i am not really happy that many teams have strayed from this system. most fo the time the first 11 would have numbers one through eleven by position. dont know what i would classify myself as and becasue professionals have strayed from the forst eleven numbers that influences the gounder generations

i think that i am destined to wear number 14 coz last time i played a match where i had to wear those shirts, it was random pick and i just put my hand in the bag and put on the shirt. i noticed there was 14 on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
