ive just bought my first matchball for a bargain price of £35!

its the moscow one that they used last year :D

if you want one go to

http://www.kitbag.com/stores/kitbag_4_5/products/product_details.aspx?pid=38783&portal=E95HUQMM

there are 3 different colours as well

enjoy

plus they ship to almost any country i think

for beginners i don't think there's any point in splashing out on a official matchball
but they are obviously better than replicas

Depends if you going to be using it just for freestyle or for normal football aswell. If you do both then its worth it.

Is the black monta ball good for freestyle?

I kick the ball around on the ground and in the street all the time, but I also want a ball that has good grip for lowers, sits, etc.

match ball is better of course, it is more endure, easy to clean, attach your feet more, and keeps a better round shape

well of course

but the ball will be "better" in these seven categories

Quote
Weight
Circumference
Sphericity
Loss of air pressure
Water absorption
Rebound
Shape and size retention (shooting test)

i would say that all of those are relevant to freestyle as well

http://www.offsidesports.com/v2/index.php/sporting-goods/soccer/adidas-euro-2008-artificial-turf-replique-ball.html

I have this One, its a replica but at the same time *inspected by fifa (this mean, this ball has the minimum requirement  to be a good ball) , its better than simple replica balls and alot cheaper than real balls *fifa approved.

i've never even seen a match ball infront of my eyes before =[

but like 2 weeks ago i was freestyling with my replica nike PL hi-vis ball and i hit it against a wall..

i left it for like 5 mins because it went into a bush and then i went to get it out again.. i then did a neck stall and flicked it up, but when i caught it again it felt really weird...... IT CHANGED SHAPE

basically i was pissed and had to get a new ball the next day, but it took me so long to wear that thing down to a condition were i found it really comfortable

i'm definately gonna get match balls once i become decent (it'll be a couple years)

I bought my Teamgeist almost 1 year ago in discount-shop for only about 30€ and it still in very good fit!! This is a real match ball and only some colors on the ball are damaged ;) So i think this is the best ball i ever used because some of my friends have Europass or Champions League balls and i didnt like these balls when i tried to practice with its..

get it b4 you get really good they last really longggggggggg mine still looks pretty much the exact same only difference is the dirt on it(that can be cleaned off) and the small bits of the ball missing due to bite the ball :)

do you guys thinks the teamgeist II's are better than the originals?

because i found tons of websites where you can get the 2006 world cup and the 2008 beijing olympics final ball (JK's =])

emm.. basically what would you recommend? they're both similar in price but i'm really not sure because i have no experience with match balls.

i was planning to get one in a couple months when i have enough money =[

Thanks!
