Title: Canon EOS 1000D

I'm thinking of buying this camera, but apart from some odd videos that dont really tell you what you want to know, I'm missing the answer to the most important question, Is it worth the money?

Not sure if any of your are are into photography but I thought I would give it ago to ask you guys. :)

you want it to record? i think this camera is so expensive.. maybe im wrong.. but if you wanna record.. buy a camcorder

arnt they the same model? this camera has 2 different names cant remember if it was the rebel xsi

i don't think they're the same thing.

Rebel is the American name for it where as 1000D  is the European name,

i don't have the xs.  i have the xsi.  xs is like a simpler more limited version of xsi.

The 1000D is amazing, in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing.

My friend is a Pro Photographer and uses this camera along with another one.

I love studio photography, my camera is is a slr like camera, which means it has all the settings of a slr but I cant change the lenses, thats why im upgrading to this.

Does he have his own website?
