Let's see... if the biggest legend left my club team to go to Europe, then never came back for anything, I would probably have a little problem with it.
On the other hand, Riquelme is playing for my team right now and playing great that is. He left but he also came back to where his heart has always been. Of course he'll be more liked than Maradona who just abandoned them.
And the question doesn't ask who's the better player, it's who the bigger idol is. To me, Hasan Salihamidzic of Bayern is a bigger idol than Ballack simply because of his loyalty to the team.
