I read it today....
I was like, wtf??, I mean, bush said infront of alot of iraquí people and periodist that he is going to take troops away from irak in 2011... so I periodist expresed his anger and threw him a shoe (in Irak culture, it's like showing despise to someone)
its something ilogical, this guy was adored in whole world, including irak....
I think every periodist in that conference felt the same about bush, but noone had the nuts to express it... so IMO this guy should be free...not in prision
if It had been a respeatable person, someone who is loved in society, my opinion would be different... but c'mon, it was george W bush....

but punishment can change by circumstance. that's why varying degrees of punishment can be levied for similar acts. if this was filed under an assault (which i would imagine that it would be--and could be for just about anyone), i would figure that that crime was just punished to its fullest extent
