2. Diouf v.s. Fye
For this round the vid length maximum 3:00 min. Beyond Football website at the beggining or at the end(3 seconds). Deadline to vote is March 20ht.

i'm down for a little later if thats kool,
i sprained my ankle last wed. at a figure skating comp. with my skool and i just starting walking this wed.
it hurts to walk, and i dont htink i will be 100% for another week at least.
i havent freestyled for like 1.5 weeks so ???
i should be fine enough for the 20th but i wouldnt mind some more time.??

Sorry for being late. I have a different judgement for 2 battles, but I want to make it short so it goes faster. My vote goes to L_I_S in his battle, and to Ikron in the battle against Fye. I don't know if this will change anything, just to let you know my judging. :thumbsup:

it doesn't change the battles for anyone, because he judged late. that is the reason why there is a deadline. we were just wanting to know his decisions. anyways that would actually make it 2-2 for both my battle with lis and fye vs ikron, so its all the same.

LIS your video was really good, and to be honest it was a suprise for me to get votes to go on. i was also suprised that the judges chose fye over ikron. there is no reason for you to make a statement like that whether you lost or won. there were supposed to be 5 judges: qvarre, aznmagic, macca, sean, sven. only two of them made their choices on time, and oli decided the tie breaker. i do see what you mean about possibly needing 5 judges to have more diversity, but we did. fye has done a very good job of organizing this competition, and has done nothing to try to favor his chances in the competition. fye, well done on organizing, and i wish you and the rest of the competitors luck in the next round.

you didn't bring any conflicts, so don't worry. we asked for your opinions on the videos only to hear what you thought. we agreed both before by setting a deadline and after by actually posting that it would be nice of you to post your picks on the thread that your votes would not change the outcome of who progresses. don't worry about it man, just try to remember to judge at the correct time next time, so there won't be any confusion.

what!!!!???? wait wait :cursing: ... im really surprised because i pass... i think ikrons vids is exellent, i think he has more dificult trick than me... but i give my best to try to beat him, i thinked is imposible beat ikron quz im not really good in lowers... but come on... im try to organize this quz before this beggin no one knows what gonna happen, i try to make this enjoyable for us... sorry if u think im not doing a good job man... but not make me feel like a chater... :down: .... man i sended 3 mails to the judges to remember they to vote... i think they think im bodering... sorry man, i try to make all of you take the desitions, i tell to you all the steps i did... at the beggining u agree, but i dont know what happen to u now... u make me feel like a cheater... sorry guys, if u want i stop to organize this, tell me, im only try to do my best.... sorry L_I_S if u feel cheated... btw of course sven please vote in the next round, hope macca and séan want to vote too in the next round... peace and sorry for all the troubles, sorry.. :( ... good luck and respect from Ecuador....

fye, no need to be upset. like i said you did a good job. the only suggestion that i would have is that you pick someone other than sean to be the 5th judge. i never really thought that he would vote or care about this competition. he rarely posts on here anymore anyways. you can pick any of the more respectable guys on here that post often.

thats because they favoured certain styles. thats a variable to think about wen having only 3 judges.

Ikron: Really great video, i liked the uppers, 3 latws and the last clip was really cool. Much better than the qualification video!
LIS: Strange music and maybe a bit too many upper clips. Lowers are really smooth especially your latws and the weak latw, last clip was really cool you have smooth sits!
Redsforlife: Nice long unedited clips, different approach to this comp which is cool. No lowers which isn't a bad thing, great control and nice akkas good job!
RIK: WOW! Really great video, lovely locations in the snow and a smooth as style. Lowers, sits and uppers were all great and the hand clips were cool! Great stuff.
Fox: Sweet vid, I enjoy your lowers. Speeding up uppers is gay imo, ruined the video a bit for me. You wouldn't speed up your lower combos so why uppers? The tatw taatw nt-amatw was really smooth and the ktaatw combo was smooth aswell. The matrix into sits was unexpected, looked great!
Diouf: FUCK! crazy video, amazing upper control and style, so nice to watch. Love your creativity and the last combo was just insanity!
Fye: Really entertaining man, you got a lot of potential and i think you could be really sick at performing! I loved the chest juggles when sitting, never seen someone do them before, they looked sick!
Those were my thoughts, sorry again I couldn't judge.

fye u have done really good. Dont be mad, if it werent for you there would have been no competition and its not your fault that only 2 judges voted, u cant be held responsible for someone else not doing what they were supposed to do.

yea, karma isnt really anything imo, it was supposed 2 b a way of telling who post bad and good. but some ppl make accounts and give themselves karma, and others lowers ppls karma 4 no reason, or just because they dont like them, not for making bad comments etc.
sometimes i just go around giving karma, becuz i know some ppl like it etc.

we have 5 now, and we need an odd number to settle any ties. maybe if you can find someone else who wants to judge fye will let you judge, but i honestly think 5 is more than enough. 7 judges would be kind of ridiculous.

Keller can judge. If me and LIS both judge it will be an odd number, 7! But since I haven't been very active lately i guess i probly can't be a judge.

well both of you can run this through with fye since he is the organizer. LIS if it was up to me the position as replacement judge in case someone forgets, is yours. i think 7 is too many judges, but fye it is your decision. i do think that LIS as a replacement judge is a very good idea.

I think there should be a new thread for voting. Judges can vote but I think that since it's the semifinals every one should be able to now. :biggrin:

I got messaged to give my judging on this, so I thought I could do now:
My vote goes to d5fox, because he included lower, upper and sits. reds only had upper and sits, very few lower, therefore d5fox's lower was better, upper and sits were approximately the same level, exept that reds soles were a lot better, but this wasn't enough to give my vote to you reds. But you did very well.
Then my second vote goes to diouf, because his video, for me, was more entertaining, and he did no extra touches between his lower combos. Fye you need to work to do combos were you don't do extra touches in between.

I got messaged to give my judging on this, so I thought I could do now:
My vote goes to d5fox, because he included lower, upper and sits. reds only had upper and sits, very few lower, therefore d5fox's lower was better, upper and sits were approximately the same level, exept that reds soles were a lot better, but this wasn't enough to give my vote to you reds. But you did very well.
Then my second vote goes to diouf, because his video, for me, was more entertaining, and he did no extra touches between his lower combos. Fye you need to work to do combos were you don't do extra touches in between.

nice vid fye, just one thing i would say was sick lemmens except the combo is really choppy cause u didnt continue doing tricks u know but really nice vid. was fun to watch, and way to match the ball to ur shirt :thumbsup:

well the only tip would be not to have extra touches between ur tricks, make it a real combo. so instead of doing lemmens with right then kicking it up and doing atw with left do htw right from lemmens into atw with left then htw to right and the lemmens.
each touch of the ball needs to be another trick. watch some really good freestylers they do long combos and there is never a point where they arent doing a trick in there combo. if this doesnt make sense let me know and i will make a vid showing u wat u did and how it should be ??
