When I'm watching someone fs, or do grounds/street, I definately prefer it if you can like kinda tell they've played football before and can do keep ups well and atleast look okay with the ball.
Like I see a lot of fs vids n some grounds with people giving rave reviews about how good the person is, and that might be so, but if their style is shit, I cba watching it, even if what they do is really good.
I.e. Jeon Kwon (yes!), I dont really like watching his vids...
Now I'm not saying you should have played football to fs, jus saying how I feel.
Anyone feel the same, or atleast similar? (I expect not really lol)

Just one question before I give my opinion about this. In your opinion, have I played football before starting to freestyle?

i think its hard to tell...
i really couldnt give a shit... i think ur crazy, JKs vids are class and i love watching him
but i know what you mean, i cant stand watching people do skora atw when they cant juggle properly with both feet

Agree with DanTheMan

I really love watching JK's videos! Although, I don't like his juggling style (in standing position).. But I don't really have a problem with it because his skills are amazing.
-
I see where you getting at, like the way when j9 did famous jatow.
His juggling there wasn't quit good. Whem i first saw that jatow i was thinking oh here comes the atw atempt.
No offence to J9 though

a lot of real footballers have horrible style when freestyling.
that isn't to say footballers can't be good freestylers, but in most cases it's true.
-
yes, its just you ;)

I think so maybe wrong... But I like your style anyways..

Firstly yeah they may do if they're jus messing about because they wont freestyle much, and secondly its not true, so most cases your a better fser if your not a footballer? Come on now.

Hey! I play football REALLY competitively and I love both freestyle and football!

obviously there are going to be exceptions but footballers usually tend to have awkward juggling styles, or they'll have great juggling and control but will have awkward styles on tricks like atw and others.
you only need look at the top level pros to see this is true.
and don't be stupid and argue and give examples. no shit there are always going to be exceptions with great footballers that are great freestylers too.

Hardly ever seen any footballers with awkward juggling styles...
Mainly true, but they wont really be good at the skills with style because they dont practice much.

I once met a great freestyler on vacation , he had some amazing skills. But then I played a simple match with him and he sucked, really. He could do lots of different ATW´s but he wasn´t able to pass, shoot or juggle a ball more than 50 times.
Really weird, but nevertheless... he was a great freestyler.

It doesnt bother me to see someone trying to Fstyle if they have never played ball before.
In actual fact, its their problem, I think having a playing background is an edge, so theyre missing out.
And I have seen some very good players that have terrible juggling style, its quite sad to watch.
These well-renowned players have such great control when the ball is on the ground.....but when it comes to keepin the ball in the air, they suddenly lose all control over the damn ball ! Obviously there are some exceptions.

then ur idea of "style" is flawed.
footballers juggle to practice their touch, not to FREESTYLE. they don't care if the ball goes up too high each touch or if they put a backspin on every touch (both of which are not great for freestyle).
