saw this on the news this morning, its nice to hear stuff like this. And when you hear plane crash and new york in the same sentence you instantly think 'OH SHIT'.
But this turnt out great, the pilot is a legend.
-
Seen this on the news online before. That guys quality. But it would be pretty kool to (kinda) land a plane on water, and nobody died too!
-
lol they were playing gta lol.... anyways that must of been scary i would of shit myself
-
Pilot is my hero... there were like 150 passenger, and no fatalities!!... great job!!... btw i've heard the cause of the accidents was a herd of swallows.... at least that was the most compresible theory...
and remember: PILOT OF THAT FLIGHT: YOU ARE MY NEW HERO!
-
it's pretty ridiculous. i'm not surprised though. dude is an ex-usaf fighter pilot/instructor. those dudes are legit. that's a tough job and not something that many people can deal with
says he owns a consulting firm. he should get some pub from this. dude deserves it

yeah. funny how that works out. jet + birds = mutually assured destruction

28 years of experience as a pilot or something like that. Pretty sick. Hudson Hero!
-
I seen a pic of the plane and headlines in a newspaper today but had no idea what it was about till now.
This guy is a pure G :pimp:
-
this pilot did great
i always dreamed of being a pilot and being called a legend after a crash landing
brings back memories of 9/11 just not into a building
-
the Pilot got the key to the city
Luck Muthrfker
-
Wow, that's insanely cool.
Good job!
-
you should send him flowers Borg
-
Fluke
-
hahaha bet he can't be it again
-
tbh well done pilot and he is a legitimate general hero, but i dont get why everybody is idolising him as their hero. anyone with 28 years piloting would have made the decision he did, and the fact that 0 casualties happened was not down to him personally but his entire crew also (and most likely a bit of luck too).

hi sputnik, welcome to the world
;)
