Title: Arsenal Young Guns (Carling Cup)

They beat Sheffield Utd 6-0 last round and this round they played a full strength Wigan side and played superbly for being so young.
Arsenal 3-0 Wigan
Jay Simpson got two in the 42 and 66 min while Vela added a beautiful chip in the 70th.

these few years are taking an eternity though...last year arsenal had a brilliant run with a young team, but lost out to tottenham. wenger should've played a full strength team just to take that win dammit :bang:

nah i think what he did was good because he showed his faith in the youth and even though they lost alotta those kids from that team are now in the regular 1st team / subs

Can't wait until Vela is a regular started for the first team. That kid will be great one day.
