Title: Interesting Kits
Post by: Deaftownhero on Nov 07, 2008, 09:51: AM
Just wondering what are some of the best or worst kits you've seen for any team.  This is a pretty rediculous one.  Norwich City from 1992.

Might be more popular than I'm aware of.  Also, check out http://historicalkits.co.uk/ (http://historicalkits.co.uk/)

Early 90's and late 80's kits looked like shit especially keeper shirts i remember a united one that looked like it was made from random coloured rags molded together like purply and black.

and my brother bought it back in the day

We can obviously tell Melbourne was a United fan and wore all these shirts but then got picked on because he was such an ugly kid. Now he thinks it's the shirts so he's rebelling and he's a Chelsea fan.

  Love you Melly.

No homo.

Yeah, I liked that one a lot myself. Ajax and Marseille always have the nicest kits it seems.

I realize this is almost a year old, but the new Seattle kits are pretty sweet I think.  Yay for MLS?

Thanks for the late reply, KellerFS.

They are pretty crap now, even though some of them are last seasons.

Pretty sure that last one was Jorge Campos of Mexico. He was known for designing his own jerseys using extremely bright colors. I don't know why it looks like the jersey doesn't even fit him right.

it's certainly a Mexican goalkeeper, so it's probably him, I think. Haha, it sounds stupid that he made his own shirts, especially when he is so bad to design his jerseys!? and yes, his shirt is too big and fits him not at all :D
- sorry for my english

Well, he more than made up for it as far as I'm concerned. The guy is a legend. He has been one of the leading scorers in the Mexican league on several seasons. How many goal keepers can say something like that? No matter how eccentric he was, he is definitely a legend.

okay, I did not know, that he is a legend. I just thought it was a random goal keeper since I did not know who it was. He seems a little special because he made his own clothes, but many times you must have a special feature of being a legend, I think? Is he still playing football, or has he stopped his career?
