David Beckham could soon be playing in Serie A for Italian giants AC Milan if the club are successful in a bid to land the Los Angeles Galaxy star on loan. The former England captain is determined to keep his place in the national team and a spell on loan in Europe during the Major League Soccer close season could be beneficial.

I wonder how much truth is behind this.

I can't see why anyone would want him in all honesty.
-
That would be cool, since the MLS season is coming to an end, but not AC Milan, he might not play a lot if this does happen. I would suggest a smaller club.
-
Last season he trained with Arsenal to stay fit; this season he will train with Milan. It's probably just a rumor.
-
I heard Capello wants him to compete in a more competitive league and to stay fit when MLS season ends.
Im not quiet sure to think about this Milan lack a right winger but his style of play could ruin there current good momentum and performances in Serie A.
-
i read an article on this as well

apparently AC Milan want a superstar team in Milan and they have a gap on the right side of midfield (beckham)
could be intresting
-
heard this as well, i think it could happen at the january transfer window
-
In the danish sports news they said that it was almost sure that he will go to Milan
-

This is different. They want him to play on the first team. They are very closes to signing off on the deal. I really hope it happens, mainly to keep Beckham happy. You know it's tough for him to sit and not play soccer when he can only watch the top teams playing in the Champions League. I think this will give him the best of both worlds.
I can't see why anyone would want him in all honesty.
Don't hate. You know he's still good. Did you watch him come on for England the other week and set up two goals in 10 minutes? The guy still has it in him. I think he'll do wonders for AC Milan. He'd be the perfect guy for them. Beckham will be the most motivated player on that team primarily to prove guys like you wrong.

But I do hate him, I can't stand him he's a t*sser. And yeah he can still cross a ball, but he's too slow and plays more at right back than RM.
And I don't believe he will be that motivated, it's just more money to him.
Moving to US to help improve the game and contribute over there, no it was to get more money, increase his profile to Hollywood and get to know some famous people and to promote poshs profile/career.
-
You think he needs to move to Milan for more money? He was getting $250 MILLION in 5 short years with the Galaxy. I'm not so sure he'd need to completely change his lifestyle for money.
To me, Beckham isn't the type of player who plays for money. He just happens to make a shit load. He doesn't forget where he came from, or the fact that he'd been told that he'd never play for England when he was younger. He captained England. Or when he was told he'd never play for Madrid again two years ago; he led them to the La Liga title. Nothing will stand in the way of him if he wants to continue playing for England, and that's all he's trying to do.
-
LOL You keep believing that.
-
elitestriker....Beckham sure as hell DID NOT lead Real Madrid to the title. Did he help and support the effort? Well of course he played on the team (not a first team starter btw) but he wasnt their talisman that year
lets get that clear
-
Elitestriker is definitely more right than TW89 in this case. Beckham is not the guy you described in your post TW. Seriously, you hate him for the wrong reasons. He's a good guy that tried hard. Just because he has the Hollywood look, a hot wife, and lots of money doesn't mean he hasn't worked hard on the field to earn that.
-
Whatever man, I see we're not gonna agree but yeah I don't like him but I also think he's not very good anymore, I don't really rate him.
And I hate him for the wrong reasons? Well would you like to tell me the right reasons?

You are a clown. Go watch the second half of the season when Beckham was re-instated into the team. Don't talk so much stupid shit. It's sickening.
-
LOL You keep believing that.
If Beckham just wanted money, why would he be trying so hard to stay fit during the offseason? Why would he be trying so hard to impress Capello? The man has recieved death threats following followin 98; i'm sure if he didn't give a fuck about playing well, he'd have retired completely from the national team.
-
When this guy was shipped off to the MLS I was like good riddance once and for all. Milan don't need him they got Pirlo who can deliver the ball with more preciseness and venom than Beckham can. Plus Pirlo never fell off.
-
AC Milan with Pirlo = losing
AC Milan without Pirlo = winning
Look at the results since the season started.
-
Pirlo who can deliver the ball with more preciseness and venom than Beckham can
you have to give respect where respect is due; no matter who it is.
-
i heard this, and it would be cool to see beckham playing in milan
-
If he does go it will be a huge gain from shirt sales.
-
Wow, the list of teams he's played for keeps getting better and better.
-
Minus L.A. of course
-
We can count that as a Holiday.

thats all he is good for,
thats the only reason why madrid bought him
-
:stupid:
-
apparently adi's with stupid
-
Moby, with every post you make i'm begining to think that you are more and more retarded. You are the type of cat that will hate Beckham, Ronaldo, or whoever is in the spotlight "just because." Regardless of the fact that they can actually play.
-
I know, he hates anyone that played for United.
