Basically with christmas about 2 months away, i thought this might be a cool idea. We could do a Beyondfootball Advent Calender where basically anyone who wants to participate gets assigned a day and makes a small video of something interesting.
If we get enough people to participate then every day of advent (1-24) there can be a thread you go to to see what that person has made as a unique video for that day. If we get less than enough volunteers then the idea probably should be scrapped. If we get too many we can have people doubled up assigned days.
the videos can obviously be freestyling, new tricks, or maybe even more interestingly something we each do away from freestyling that you dont mind making a video of. it can be funny or entertaining or whatever you think people will like.
If we get positive responses and enough volunteers i'll run this.

Talking about xmas already??? :saywhat: Only jokin'. If this is to go ahead it does need a bit of time before xmas to be organised so its okay, though all the xmas months early hype does piss me off.

ok! great to hear! i thought earlier 'hmmm this is too early to say it before xmas :( ' but then i realised it must start of dec 1st and its nearly nov 1st.
anyone who wishes to do something can start filming straight away. i'll get things a bit more sorted out as to exact dates for each person later, but heres a provisional list so far (that i'll keep updated)
i only added people who actually said they were 'in' to the list, so far.

edit: yes sander, like in christmas advent calendars you open a new door or find a new chocolate in it each day of december, so we will have a new video from [1 or more] people each day, if we can get it together

ok so we have filled the minimum of 24! the people so far are listed above, and the number beside your name is the day of december that your video will be shown. these were chosen randomly through random.org
as i said before though, there is still plenty of time, so if you want to join in, and havent already, your still can. we have already started the doubling up process, as on days 10 and 12 there will be two videos.
all thats really left to say is, you can still join if you havent and those that have get doing your stuff!
about halfway through november i'll get in contact with every participant via pm to check if they are still able to fullful their date, if not then the doubles will take their place.

How will you organize this? Are we uploading our videos on youtube? IF we do that.. it's hard to make everyone upload and post the video early every morning on each date i think.

Upload the day before and then just find 5 minutes of your day to post the link. :biggrin:

as much work as itll take, i think the best solution is to send to me. whenever you complete your vid send it to the account i specify (i will make a new msn and vimeo account for this) and i'll upload after 12midnight on the day.
also just to say, if im uploading everyones video, dont be a tom folan and save it in mega good quality because id prefer to only use up 500mb per week (the vimeo limit) and not have to make a second new account.
i think that still leaves you a lot of limmit, 500mb/7 videos is like 71mb each :)

setup a fake account, upload the video whenever, and say only viewble to freinds, untill the actuall day,then put it visable to public.

im not sure how many people are still gonna do anything... ive made my video, but 2moz i was planning to give out a new hotmail account for people to send their videos to. we'll see how many do, but im not hopeful.

because that way i couldve managed the videos propperly instead of leaving it up to the user to upload on the day, or keep secret until their day if they uploaded it beforehand. now that doesnt really seem a gd idea. just upload them yourselves
