I remember the predictions at the end of last season. This was to be Tottenham's year in the top 4. How things change.

Pav Looks To Kick-Start Spurs' Season
Tottenham Hotspur striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is happy to have opened his goal scoring account with the club, and is hopeful that the midweek win over Newcastle can light the touchpaper of Spurs' season...
Pavlyuchenko scored his first goal since moving from Spartak Moscow last month in the Carling Cup third round tie against Newcastle on Wednesday.
The Russian nodded the opener from Aaron Lennon's cross to send Juande Ramos' side en-route to their first win of the season.
Spurs face a floundering Portsmouth on Sunday in the Premier League, and Pavlyuchenko is hopeful of a White Hart Lane resurgence.
He told the official Spurs website: "I'm very pleased. I've been waiting to score a goal and I was very pleased for the team that I was able to score this goal.
"I didn't score in either of my first two games and thoughts started to enter my mind that I needed a goal to boost my confidence.
"I think the Newcastle result should give us confidence as a team for the upcoming games and we should only be thinking about going forwards from here."
they have a great squad they will start picking up points soon

Including Hull, im just about given up hope that weres gonna stay up this season unless we get a decent manager

I dont think you can all juande not "decent" considering the things he did with sevilla, you need to look at other things the chairman and the players, your probably not even a fan andy , you have a season ticket?
How can you judge the team then? :rolleyes:

How the hell cant I be a Spurs fan just because I haven't got a Season ticket!? Its a 5 hour trip to London so I haven't got one, but I have seen all the matches on Spurs TV through there main website. The matches I have seen are awful, we cant even pass right. Ramos is a great manager but not atm. When your playing players out of position all the time and fearing that your next match your goalkeeper could be upfront isnt the best of positions to be in.
I feel sorry for Ramos but the facts are all true, 7 games without a win, bottom of the league and rubbish tactics can tell anyone that.
Even a Spurs fan can see that.

Tottenham's problems go further than the team that is put out on Saturday. Ramos can still not speak English, they sold 50 goals by selling Berbs and Keane, bad signings have been made (not with the managers complete backing I my add), a director of football who is not held in esteem by much of the hierachy and a general sense of desperation and low self esteem around the people at the club. If Ramos is not committed to put everything into the job then he needs to go sharpish. On the contrary, if he is up for the challenge, he needs until January at least.
The players clearly loved Jol, it was a mistake to be so harsh with him and get rid of him so quick but we will see....
