If you could go professional and you were just starting out your career, where would you go to play? Be realistic please. Let's not say Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, etc. just because they are huge clubs. If you pick those teams, would you want to sit on the reserve team and maybe fade away? Take all this into consideration.
Personally, I would go to a team like 1860 Munich. I would get to live in one of my favorite cities, play in the second German division and therefore probably get some first team experience. 1860 is also on the verge or breaking into the first division and has massive fan support in Munich.
What about you all?
-
Probably French second division there are lots of young African players who come out of France, make your way up to a Lille or Marsille get some Champions league football under your belt. Than probably get snatched up by a big English, Spanish or Italian club. (what a nice fantasy)
-
Just thinking about being a professional makes me want to go back 5-8 years and work much harder. All the what-ifs. If kids only knew that when they are younger.
-
Today I'm playing semi-final of my school cup. and if we get to the county finals, My P.E teacher told me there would be lots of scouts and that a couple from a few years ago got picked up, if anyone has heard of steve scotham, he went to my school.
So maybe I will go pro, but not, its not likely.
I'd like to play for someone like Nottingham Forest, very good fanbase, close to home as you can get really.

French Ligue 2
Guinamp
Small squad
good possibility of get into the bench and getting some chance to prove what you worth to the club
-
if you're scouted in my area you'll play for ajax,az or fc volendam (2nd devision) but ajax will do me fine ;)
-
I'd like to play for Toronto FC, a team in the MLS, not a big jump but it's cool to play there, the seats are sold out every game.. and they even travel to away games, sometimes there are more away fans than home fans at their away games. Seeing as Freddy Adu played in the MLS then got transfered to a higher club, I'd want to do just the same, I'd probably go for a small club in England, cause that's my dream to play in England, and then maybe, perhaps move to my favourite club. :)
-
Beveren
Any MLS team, or South American team.

*raises hand* but sir it might have been a typo maybe he meant the Vatican. :nopity:
-
With El mofo as your teacher you cant afford to make mistakes
and the Vatican is not a country either.. it's a "sovereign" state.. located in Italy..
okay class, that would be all for today, see you next time

THERES IS SNOW IN ENGLAND IN THE WINTER.
Mac, in what England r u living that theres no snow?
-
there is snow in england, but not always, usually melts before it hits the surface, or melts straight away and it only snows up north and its still rare. You make it sound as if england is famous for snow, just like it is famous for the queen
-
well dude, there shoore is more snow than in venezuela, here theres a 39 CG weather on a normal day
-
You want snow, come to Canada.
We've had atleast 20cm in two days.
-
Louisiana gets more snow
-
i would honestly go to the colorado rapids. they are an arsenal feeder team and they have a few good players. otherwise i would go to arsenal and be on the reserves for a few years learning as much as i can and eventually make it to the first team.
